Too far to walk

The B&B itself is fine. It is an unfortunately long walk, and that is just to Vatican City. You have to go further to get to anything else. It is clean enough, and the staff is fine.

Hi Kate, thank you for taking your time to leave your feedback on your stay at our bed and breakfast. I am glad you enjoyed it, found it clean and liked us. I am sorry you found it a long walk to the Vatican City, unfortunately the option is to walk for 1.5km or take the metro for one staop and then walk 600meters. Thank you again for your time and feedback.

Lovely View of the Vatican from the room.

Pros: Comfy beds and feels quite safe.
Cons: Maybe just a quick dust over and another variety of cereal.
Location: Very close to Cipro metro stop. Easy walking distance to the Vatican City and local museums. Also close to local shop.
Very close to the Sistine Chapel and the Vatican city.

RomaVaticano

The location is still a long walk to the Vatican and a train ride to the main sites in Rome. This is a bed and breakfast and they have signs all over stating that there is no one around after 6PM or before 9am. Also, they got mad at my friend for eating a cookie when it was past breakfast time. I understand sometimes you have to be frugal .. but the way they handled it was not very hospitable.

Near the Vatican

Posted Jul 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
This B&B was difficult to find because it is on the 7th floor of a building with no sign other than the name next to the building's buzzer. Check-in was a bit confusing because we had to go down to another floor in the building to find the lady to check us in. The 'hotel' is basically a 3 or 4 bedroom apartment (2 bathrooms) that was turned into a B&B. The room was good-sized with a queen bed, desk, dresser/armoire, a sofa, and a flat-screen TV. The view was pretty nice since you could see St. Peter's Basilica out the window and there was a balcony, but that was shared with the other rooms on that side of the B&B. The street below had a lot of traffic noise at all hours, which may be bothersome to light sleepers. The breakfast was basic with rolls, cold cereal, and juice. The area immediately around the B&B was not the best. And while there were no immediate safety concerns throughout our stay, the look and feel of the area made it seem like a place to watch your bags and wallets. The B&B was located on the back side of the Vatican so the walk around it to the entrance would probably have been about 25 minutes. We opted to walk 5 minutes to the subway station, ride for about 2-3 minutes to the station nearest the Vatican, then walk another 5 minutes to get in. The other sites in Rome that we visited were also easily accessible by train.

Only stay if on a budget, theres better places

Posted Jun 7, 2012
Was very disappointed in this place. We arrived and waited half an hour for noone to let us in the security door so went in when someone else did. they had changed the flat we were staying in. The elevator is tiny and can barly fit 2 people in, we were 2 people with 2 suitcases. The walls in the apartment are paper thin. People could be heard all day and night from the apartment above us. The breakfast was horrible, they put a small carton of milk, a few croissants and a tiny amount of cereal which was only enough to feed 2-3 people and expected all their guests (8 in total while I was there) to eat it as a first come first serve basis. We and a few other guests ended up with nothing a few days in a row. Also only had 1 light dooner in the middle of winter.. We froze every night!!! They had a safe but there was no point in using it because it wasnt secured in the cupboard. The staff were friendly

nice enough place and the owners are friendly but the room we had was very small and, while i'm not sure what the going rate for rome is, 70 euros seemed a little excessive for what we got.
