trastevere centrePosted Jul 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
My stay was pleasant. Andrea, the host, is friendly and organized. No troubles with check-in. The room and bathroom were relatively clean. Breakfast is very basic, but in Rome there is something to eat at every corner. Location is really great for exploring the city on foot. The only negative things I can point out are that the room is very noisy. From outside but also from other guests inside. You can hear EVERYTHING :( Also rather early check-out time 10am and I felt i got kicked out because the other guests had already arrived!! Most hotels don't let new guests check-in until 14h.

Lovely but a little noisyPosted Jun 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
This B&B is in a great suburb, near cheap good quality food. There is always something fun going on in the piazzas nervy.. The room was huge and had its own private bathroom. Comfortable bed.. Andrea was incredibly friendly and helpful with showing me on a map what to see in Rome and also locally around the neighbourhood. Only downside is the B&B is directly above some very noisy restaurants whose patrons stay until the wee hours of the morning. I would stay here again though.

Wonderful spot in TrasteverePosted Jun 10, 2013 on Hotels.com
This was a really great location in Trastevere, right in the heart of one of the most charming neighborhoods in Rome. Close to great restaurants and sights, and the owner was friendly and helpful and easy to contact by email. Only one note of caution: loud at night (because of all the bars and restaurants nearby). Would definitely return.

It was a very convenient location and a nice little quaint room; I did not like the shared bathroom idea but it was not the least bit dirty and I actually didn't mind it in the end. The bathroom was a tad bit small but that's just european size. the only thing i disliked about the place was that it was very loud at night so if you are trying to get a good nights rest, this is not the place for you. Other than that it was a great stay for such an excellent price. Andrea, the host, was excellent, very welcoming, and extremely friendly.

Calisto 6 bed and breakfastPosted Apr 14, 2012
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Noise from bar, smoke from smokers, bathroom
Room was not ready when I arrived (5pm), bar directly below that did not close until 3am, smoke from bar ingressed into the room. Bathroom was not on-suite and was tiny, hard even to shower. Would not go back.

Great location in Testervere for a budget B & BPosted Sep 28, 2011
After the 1st nights confusion on which bathroom was ours to use, we had a wonderful stay. The B & B is just around the corner from a beautiful piazza with music and gathering in the evening. The breakfast was continental which was fine for me, but my husband was left wanting. The showers (openings) were small even for European B & B standards. Not for a plus sized person! Very clean Overall we enjoyed our 3 night stay very much and I loved the neighborhood!! I would stay there again!! .

First time here, was recommended by friends, was not impressed with the continental breakfast, the cafe staff were also rude. :( It was a nice safe, place to stay.

WARNING, WARNING save money and a bad experience, on time !!Posted Jul 19, 2011
Read carefully because these lines may save you money, time and a terrible experience in your trip to Rome. It seems to be a nice option for B&B unless, like happened to me, the manager decide (by himself) to relocate you at the last minute, so you have no choice or other place to go, even if he sent you an email the day before confirming the room. He may take you “just” 100 meters away; but that distance is enough to sleep under a bridge, a bench park or the street, too. In my case I was supposed to meet with my girlfriend there, but I couldn’t , so there she was using my reservation, but placed in a small two bedrooms apartment, sleeping in an adapted attic room, small enough to fit a full bed and having to use the bathroom downstairs. What I paid for was: Double bedroom, in-suite bathroom, breakfast and wi-fi. Talking about the “breakfast”, in case you are expecting a croissant or toasted bread, etc. NO! It is a cheap bag with some bread in it, but not even as “good” as an airplane meal. Luckily for us it was only a 2-day experience. It you are not a homeless traveling or backpacker with very low budget, DO NOT go to this hotel. Charming does not mean they are serious to honor your deal. Expedia, did a GREAT job, contacting the place and offering me a rearrangement. Anyone can survive the experience, but it is the principle of the agreement was broken and unilateral changes without your consent are the problem. Good Luck and have a nice trip.
