Excellent location, great price.Posted Mar 14, 2014
Pros: Close to the sights, yet in the working class section of Rome.
Cons: The building is old, but that is also part of the charm.
Location: The church on the hill is incredible. Wood fired pizza across the street.
The manager arranged to have a car pick me up at the airport for 5 Euros more than a taxi and treated me like family for my entire stay. There are only 5 rooms in this B&B, so it is cozy. It is right on Viale Di Trastevere with great food within a few blocks and a taxi stand a block away.

Great place to stay and great location (TrasteverePosted Feb 27, 2014
Very friendly and helpful host, provides breakfast, and you can ask for specific foods. Great location. Hotel is clean and well kept. It's in an apartment building, you feel like you are living in Rome.

Nice view off the porchPosted Jul 13, 2013
A nice view at sunset off the porch. It is in a local neighborhood with local Italians living around you. The walls were thin and toilet backed up a little bit into the shower which was gross. The place was clean, comfortable and Andres was a fantastic host. The location is close to a couple tram stations, grocery store, and great traditional meat & cheese shop.

Close to heart of trendy TrasteverePosted May 20, 2013 on Hotels.com
Looks like a normal residential building and have to press the buzzer for B&B Danilo. Room was comfortable (no TV but that wasn't a problem for us. Breakfast was simple and not special. People were friendly.
Beautiful room and an excellent location!!Posted Mar 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a fantastic stay here. The surrounding location was beautiful full if cobbled streets, lovely restaurants and some great bars. Davide was super helpful showing us how to get every where and our room was clean and perfect. Breakfast includes toast and fruit etc and there is a kitchen area if you want to cook at any time. For a girls or couples weekend I would 100% recommend staying here.
Warm and friendly b & b in great locationPosted Sep 22, 2012 on Hotels.com
Had a lovely time in Rome staying at Hotel Danilo, the location was perfect and central for the majority of the places to visit. The hotel was spotlessly clean and the room very spacious, it was great to sit on the balcony with a glass of Prosecco after a long days sightseeing and catch the last of the sun. Only down side was that there was no tv, it didn't bother me too much but my teenage daughter missed it, although his wouldn't put me off from staying here again. There is a supermarket next door to the hotel (hidden below the clothes store) that is ideal for picking up snacks and drinks and no problem using the hotels fridge.

Friendly staff welcome us to these clean B&B. We very much liked the neighborhood and the owner recommended two great restaurants for dinner. When we return to Rome we will stay here again.
