Nice hotelPosted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: nice big bathroom
Cons: better info on how to operate the shower
Location: It would have been nicer if the hotel was located closer to some of the main attractions. It was a bit of a hike to some of the popular sites.
We enjoyed our stay at the Berg Luxury hotel. The room was spacious and very clean. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Any requests we had were dealt with quickly.

great hotel - if they honor your reservationPosted Apr 8, 2014
We stayed there last week for 7 nights - it was supposed to be 8. Upon check in (after traveling for over 20 hours and getting there at 8pm), we were told that our room wasn't available that night. I booked this with expedia months in advance, had confirmation numbers, etc. I'm not sure if it the Italian way, or what, but the front desk man was very 'matter of fact' about it, vs. apologetic. They were simply overbooked, and they couldnt accomodate us that night - they tried to put us in their "sister hotel" around the corner, which was beyond dreadful, i refused - so they taxied us to a hotel about 10 min away, which was sub par (gross linens, polyester comforter, holes in the towels). The next day we were able to check in, and they did upgrade to a suite for the stay, and it was incredibly spacious, clean and beautiful. If you can get your room, it's a great hotel.

Great room, tricky stuffPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: THe room and the location
Cons: breakfast: expensive and bad taste.
Location: just near villa borghese and the spanish stairs
The room is just great. Spacey, very modernly, nicely designed, with wonderful shower and amenities. When we arrived we were told that breakfast would be served on the 1st floor. We came to breakfast, and it was very basic, For compoents like eggs or vegetables a considerable payment is required. Thus, we assumed that thee breakfast is complimentary. Also, there was no indication that it would cost us. At the end of the breakfast of the second day we were told, for the first time, that this basic breakfast costs 36 euros per day. We felt that they did not tell it during our first breakfast, because they knew we would not come to breakfast on the second day. Felt like a dishonest trick.

Beautiful Central HotelPosted Mar 12, 2014
Cons: The only thing that I marked this hotel down for was the staff on the front desk, some where amazing and some just stared at you.
Me and my boyfriend stayed at the Berg Luxury Hotel at the beginning of March and both of us were amazed, both agreeing that the hotel was the best we have ever stayed at. If you love a different approach to hotels, a modern, chic and luxuriously dark then this is definitely for you! The layout and decor is unlike anything we have seen before, although it may not be to everyone's taste, if you want a cute little quirky hotel, more traditional this isn't for you. It is a central location we walked everywhere including The Vatican City which was our furthest point. It is 5 minutes away from the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, with lots of lovely restaurants, bars and shops around. The bar is the hotel is reasonably priced and a beautiful little hide away. The one thing we loved most was the lighting the in the room, all different lights, light up art just perfect. HIGHLY recommend this hotel.

Brent Hotel - Friendly, Clean and good locationPosted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: the cleanliness of the room and the hotel in general was very impressive, the staff were pleasant and helpful, great en-suite and comfortable bed.
Cons: we normally participate in breakfast in the hotels we visit, but we were put off by the prices detailed in our room information,
Location: most of the main Roman attractions are within walking distance of the hotel, the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon and Colosseum were beautiful
bed time apart we did not spend much time in the hotel, it is located on a quiet road and we were never disturbed by the sound of noisy traffic, the en-suite was beautiful and the multi jet shower was out of this world. it took us no more than 10 minutes to stroll to several of the world famous Roman attractions from the hotel

Good hotelPosted Feb 21, 2014
Welcoming hotel, good staff, 5 mins from Spanish steps metro and a good walk (20mins) into city centre. Room facilities good, hotel facilities ( bar and breakfast room) very small.

Great, Couldn't have asked for anything more!Posted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: Good location, amazingly clean and modern, very comfortable beds, IDEAL
Cons: Temperature of rooms, working AC.
Location: right next to barberini subway stop so easy to get to the vatican. 10 min walking distance to spanish steps and trevi fountain. quiet street, great
Good location, nice walk to/from the centre and spanish steps, trevi fountain. Room was a little on the warm side but we slept with the balcony door open as AC didn't work but that would be the only fault we could pick. It didn't spoil our holiday at all and it was nice to have lovely sunny weather in february, makes a change from UK weather!

Perfect location and new&modern hotelPosted Feb 15, 2014
the temperature control in the room did not seem to work. When it was cold outside, the room was cold. On warmer days, the room was warm. We visited in the fall and don't know if the range of temperatures at that time caused this problem. Bathroom lighting was perhaps a little too subdued. No tea & coffee making facilities in the room
