Comfortable hotel close to the VaticanPosted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: The hotel was clean and inviting, and
Cons: The shower doors did not closed well enough to prevent some water from getting on the floor.
Location: The hotel is very near Vatican City, close to the Metro, and there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance.
The staff at the Spring House is very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast is provided every day with enough variety to please any taste. There are even children's dishes and utensils along with coloring materials for their use.

Family Trip to RomePosted Apr 24, 2015
Pros: location breakfast
Location is good close to the metro and the Vatican Museum Entrance (on the side of the Vatican main entrance). Rooms are small for a family of 4. View terrible from room. air conditioning not working. Even the trash can was broken. Advertized as +VIP Access but no additional benefit

Family Easter VacationPosted Apr 24, 2015
Location: The hotel is on the side of the entrance to the Vatican Museum. Approx 2 short blocks. Also is close to the Metro Station for the Vatican
This hotel is suppose to be a +VIP Access Hotel and this feature will be the basis for this review --I selected the hotel base on this +VIP feature - Negative: 1. Hotel did not honor the Rewards +gold: 2 times I showed the Expedia Card a) I asked for an upgrade because half the view of the room was block by the hotel sign: No upgrade b) I asked the last day to extend the check out 2 hrs and they refused c) They mentioned the only benefit for +VIP Access is a "fruit basket" but did not deliver it 2. Room was very small for 4 people 3. Half of the view was block and could see the pipes from the hotel Positive: 1. Location is good, 2. Breakfast was ok I will recommend Expedia not to advertize this hotel as +VIP Access because it misleads its customers

Super Lage !!Posted Apr 7, 2015
Ostern in Rom. Ist absolut zu empfehlen, unbedingt eine Führung für das vatikanische Museum buchen. Ansonsten stundenlanges anstehen!! Auch die Kuppel des Petersdom besteigen. Super Aussicht auf die ganze Stadt

A great hotel close to the VaticanPosted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: Breakfast was excellent, the staff fantastic and location, location, location!
Cons: Nothing really. Check in is at 3pm but they let us check in earlier which was great after the long flight in.
Location: St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican museums; Do take the hop on hop off buses to see the other churches. Shopping at Via Cola di Rienzo is a must.
We had a great week at this hotel; the rooms were large for European hotels and this was one of the reasons we chose it (coming from America with our larger hotel rooms expectations). The location cannot be beat being a short walk to the Vatican museums and St. Peter's Basilica. The hotel staff were wonderful and very accommodating to our large group of five, including a boisterous toddler.
