“American Sized Hotel Room Near Roma Termini”
OK, the location of the hotel was the only draw back. It is a 15 minute walk from the train station and on the opposite side of all the tourist attractions. Having said that, the hotel was great! There are signs of pending remodeling, but we were there to see the sites not the hotel. The room was as large as normal American sized rooms which was awesome considering that european hotels are small. We also had a balcony, wow! Staff was very helpful and coutious, free internet and the breakfast was better than most places we've stayed. Overall I would highly reccommend this place to anyone going to Rome. Also since it is around a college campus there are few affordable places to eat which will help you save money considering that places near any attraction are super expensive.
“Great hotel”
Staff is extremely helpful. Wi-fi doesn't reach all rooms but is fine in the lobby.
“Great Choice!”
This was the last hotel we stayed in on a two week-multi city-European vacation. This was by far the nicest hotel we stayed in, it was also the most Americanized hotel. This hotel had air conditioning! (I know it sounds absurd to be excited about air conditioning, but the 4 star hotel we stayed at in London did not) The staff was very friendly with great recommendations for dinners. The free internet access in the lobby was definitely a plus as we were traveling "light" without laptops. The complimentary breakfast was a great way to start your day and the hotel was close enough to a metro stop. The little balcony was nice and the neighborhood was OK. From the outside this hotel may not look like much but it is definitely worth the price and a great place to stay if you are looking for a hotel like the ones you are accustomed to in the US.
“You shouldn't be disappointed”
Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. I really don't speak itallian but the hotel staff communicated just fine in english. Hotel cleaning service was excellent and trust worthy. Complimentary breakfast was exceptional and the staff in the dining were always watching to make sure the food was replentished, fresh and well presented. This is not a 5 star hotel but exceptional Best Western hospitality and service. At a Best Western level, I would give my stay a 10 definately.
“very impressed, wie recommend hot the hotel”
The hotel was excellent. The services was of a highest level. The room was very good, we had a separate balkon and a view to the city. The breakfast was incredible.
“Can't wait to go back”
This was our second stay at Best Western Globus. We intend to plan another trip and stay at this hotel.
“In the University Area”
This hotel is located in the University Area. There are a lot of little "quick bite" restaurants in the area. The location is okay in that you can catch the Metro within a short walking distance from the hotel and go into downtown Rome. The hotel staff were very knowledgeable and helpful.
“The rooms stink”
the staff were really friendly. I absolutely liked everything about the hotel, and the free internet and breakfast were great. The only complaint that I have is that there was no fans in the bathroom and the rooms stunk as a result. It was to a point that it was hard to sleep at night. Another friend of mine stayed in that hotel and he also noticed it. I wouldn't go back just because of this problem.
“Great Hotel!”
During our two week stay, this place was my favorite for the price and services. The breakfast is really good, plenty of food and a nice dining area. The computers in the lobby with free Internet came in really handy. The rooms are nice although the tub is quite small (I usually just shower anyways). The train from the airport stops at the train station and on arrival we walked from there to the hotel (which was kinda far). But if you take the Metro from the train station (Line B to Policlinico) it's only a few blocks (about a quarter mile). Once we learned where and how to use the metro, it was simple to get anywhere in Rome we wanted to go.
“Good Hotel with nice price for Rome.”
Nice small, with good bus and metro connections to downtown. Some good quality with nice price.
