Great Hotel...Excellent StaffPosted Sep 2, 2014
We really enjoyed our stay at the Globus. The staff were outstanding. The room was spacious and easily accommodated myself and 3 teenagers. The complimentary breakfast was a delicious way to begin our day. If you don't mind a short commute into the city centre, this hotel provides excellent value. Highly recommended.

Reasonable value for money.Posted Sep 2, 2014
Pros: Good sized, very clean bedroom. Good choice of food for everyone at breakfast and excellent price considering it was August !
Cons: More facilities such as a bar.
Location: Close to the Policlinico station. Nothing really to do near to the hotel apart from a fantastic ice cream parlour across and down the road !
This hotel was very cheap for a family of 4 including breakfast. It was reasonably easy to get to if you don't mind a short train journey and walk from the underground. The Room was very comfortable and clean with more than enough space for us and our 8 and 12yr old boys. The breakfast which was included was good with enough choice for us all. The only disappointing feature about this hotel was that there was no bar or facilities to get anything to eat or drink in the evening. The area was very quiet. This hotel served its purpose which was to be used as a base for 3 busy days sightseeing. Good value for money if you are travelling with children on a budget.

Convenient but neglected...Posted Aug 29, 2014
Pros: Breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent.
Cons: Deep clean the rooms and then clean and restock properly. Soundproofing required.
Location: Location excellent - but local amenities very limited.
Television signal was terrible - loud cracking and pixellation on most channels. Asked for it to be fixed repeatedly - nothing done. Cupboards and under beds thick with grey dust - minimal cleaning done - tea/coffee/ shower gel not restocked. Very noisy - walls very thin you can hear everything going on in next doors bathroom.

Best Western good as usualPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Family room
Cons: Bunk bed was high and the guard was small. Didn't feel comfortable to have our kids up there.
Location: Not much to see in the area. Tourist area is about a 25 minute walk.
This hotel is not in the tourist area but the price reflects that. If you are looking for an inexpensive option with decent quality away from the action then this is a good one.

Great place to stay in RomePosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Good size room, friendly staff, clean, free wifi. Air con
Cons: Better selection of the hot food at breakfast, it seemed to cater for the German taste rather than British or Italian. There didn't seem to be a bar.
Location: It was a bit away from the centre, which made it quiet but limited facilities nearby. Metro station handy (polyclinico)
The hotel is located to the east of the city, near termini and trib. Stations but within 10 mins walk to the nearest metro which really helped. For a Capitol city break we thought the value for money was excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the room provided had ample space for a family of four with good wifi. Breakfast had a good selection in a busy and modern environment. We were pleased with out stay here.

Perfect hotelPosted Aug 10, 2014
I believe that this is the perfect hotel to stay in without having to spend too much money on a hotel in the city. It is located about 5 minutes from the train station, perfect walking distance. It is right next to the subway and bus that takes you into the city. The staff was very friendly and there were many options for breakfast in the morning. I would definitely stay in this hotel again the next time I go to Rome.

The hotel was great, good location, close to the metro, breakfast was good, shower is not built for people over 5 foot, bed was a bit hard, but all and all we would stay again.

Nice family, kids friendly hotelPosted Jul 29, 2014
The hotel staff were extraordinarily friendly, courteous. We had no problem in communicating with them as all the staff spoke English. Breakfast had a good spread. They arrange airport pickup/drop services. Overall we had very good experience. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends.
