Great hotel with excellent transport linksPosted Apr 17, 2014
Very much enjoyed my 4 night stay at hotel, although there was a very strange smell in the bathroom and staff were quite abrupt. The breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and it's location was very central for tram, train, metro. The room was a good size and tea/coffee/mini bar was restocked daily.

Old but okPosted Apr 14, 2014
It's an Ok hotel, 10-30 min walking distance to main attractions: Spagna, trevi & cavona... Terrible internet connection & breakfast is very minimal... Rooms are old but clean & comfortable... Staff at the desk are helpful but unflexible... Overall ratio quality price is ok... You can always get internet from coffees & restaurants in the city ...

Very simple, INTERNET DOES NOT WORKPosted Apr 14, 2014
Cons: INTERNET PLEASE!!
Location: Location near termini
Hotel is old and tired, internet is inexistent, for a 4 star hotel, where internet goes on the speed of a turtle, and does not allow you to do ANYTHING. I spent 30 minutes to download a 5 mb file, and I have a new MacBookPro, i'm not using and old computer... First they told me that it was "because many people is using it, the hotel is full", and I don't care! I want my internet working Solution after speaking with the manager? Come down to the reception and work from here as signal is better. NO! I booked room with internet at a 4 star hotel and paid a lot for it. I ant to usie it in MY room. Sorry for the problems? we will giver you one night for free? I think i dreamed with that... Complimentary bootle of wine? i think that was standard, but still waiting for it. NO COMPENSATION or explanations.

nice clean hotel, rude unwelcoming staff.Posted Apr 14, 2014
good big room clean and up to date, small but adequate breakfast, staff are rude and seem to hate tourists!! so wouldn't recommend to anyone who enjoys a warm welcome

Perfect hotelPosted Apr 14, 2014
Everything about this hotel was great. Arrived late morning and our room was ready for check-in. Easy walk to most of what Rome has to offer. If Vatican is too far of a walk, Metro from Termini station will take you there. Neighborhood is safe, many shops and local bars/trattorie. Large grocery store near S. Maria Maggiore is well stocked with food and wine. Breakfast was decent with a large spread of pastries, cereal, yogurt, fruit and hot bacon/scrambled eggs. Morning of check out, we departed too early for breakfast. Front desk had prepared a breakfast bag filled with apples, croissants, jam, juice etc. Fantastic!

Ideally situatedPosted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Situation, cleanliness, staff, size of lobby
Cons: Bar prices, WI-FI (a bit patchy at times)
Location: Easy to get to any part of the city!
When we arrived at the staff, we were greeted by extremely polite, helpful, and good humoured staff. We were very pleased with our room, which had everything we needed included a large bathroom with separate shower and bath. Breakfast was comprehensive, with many different options to choose from (we didn't have lunch or dinner at the hotel). The bar area was very comfortable, with many seats, but unfortunately the drinks prices were quite expensive. The hotel was ideally suited as it was very close to both train station and bus stops, meaning it was very easy to get to any other part of the city. Would certainly recommend this hotel for anyone in the future

Good quality hotel, excellent locationPosted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: location excellent, buffet breakfast superb - reception areas classy and interesting
Cons: No coffee making facilities in our room. Room service options were all or nothing, would have liked greener options to be implemented
Location: Very close to main rail station also metro interchange, buses and trams but still fairly quiet (we were on 8th floor) - lots within walking distance
Very nice stay. Buffet breakfast each morning set you up for the day. Great location for easy access to all of Rome by public transport but could also walk to many attractions. Lots of restaurants nearby for meals in evening. Never tried the Rooftop restaurant in the hotel itself (we felt they didn't market it very well, maybe a different story in the summer). Room service was very thorough, including changing sheets which we did not really need for our 6 night stay, certainly not every night; also they didn't seem to implement their own 'towels in bath if they need changing' policy. Nice big reception areas where people could relax in the evenings before and after meals.

Hotel Bettoja MediterraneoPosted Apr 8, 2014
Pros: staff were efficient, helpful and friendly, clean rooms, good location
Cons: décor in bedrooms - but I am being fussy
Location: good for catching bus to the main attractions in Rome. We like walking so we did a lot of walking to places but really you need to take buses
good location near Railway station. Slightly noisy as we had a room on to the main road. Excellent service. Slightly dated décor but really it was fine and the staff were really helpful.

Good hotel close to main metro and train stationPosted Feb 24, 2014
Only disappointment was the room size. I felt I overpaid for that small room
