“Charming little hotel with a location that can't be beat in Rome”
I stayed at the Boutique Hotel Trevi by myself and I LOVED the hotel, especially because of the unbeatable location, steps away from the Trevi Fountain and walking distance from the Coliseum, Pantheon and all of Rome's main attractions. My room was a single room and it was tiny but charming and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast(included with the room rate) was a great buffet with all you can think of. If I go back to Rome, I will not think twice about staying there again! I couldn't believe that I was at such a premier location and at a nice hotel for such a low price. Definitely stay there!!
“Very Happy”
After a 2 week med cruise we stayed over in Rome for an extra day. This hotel was perfect for our family of 3. It offered 2 twin beds and a sofa in an adjacent sitting room that was already made into another twin bed. The location was perfect. Easy access to food, shopping and many sights of Rome. We will stay there again.
“ROMA BEST HOTEL”
I DIT NOT TASTE THE BREAKFAST, BECAUSE IT IS SERVE AT SEVEN OCLOCK, I SUGEST IT COULD BE SERVE AT SIX THURTY, BECAUSE THE TRIPS LEAVE VERY EARLY.
“The best place to stay in Rome!!!”
This is the best place we stayed on our trip! The staff was excellent...so helpful with all our needs (taxi, directions, questions...). Our room was elegant and clean. The location was great..only a few steps away from the beautiful Trevi Fountain. Right outside our door was gelato shops, pizza and fun shopping. The breakfast was delicious and convenient.
“Ideal location, peaceful oasis in the midst of bustling tourist area”
I booked this hotel based on other positive reviews, and our experience exceeded expectations. We used this hotel as a base to travel to and back from other cities within Italy. The rooms we returned to each time were spacious and clean, and unlike other typical compact European hotel accomodations. Staff was most accomodating, allowing us to check in earlier than regular check-in time which allowed us to rest rather than waiting for our room to be ready. The most appealing aspect of this hotel is the convenient location- most ideal with it's proximity to the Trevi fountain- literally steps away- the Pantheon, access to all the bus lines to major points of interest in the city. There were numerous restaurants and access to shopping as well. We will definitely plan to stay at this hotel again during our next trips to Rome.
“Great location and confort”
I was surprised of the size of the room but I found the room confortable. I wish I it was a bit bigger
“A great find in the heart of Rome!”
lovely hotel in the heart of Rome. Staff was congenial and helpful, the rooms were elegant and clean, breakfast room was small but adequate (especially if you got there early). And the Trevi Fountain was a few feet away! Very nice.
“Nice Boutique Hotel!”
I chose to stay at this hotel based on a lot of the reviews. I stayed 4 nights & was pretty much pleased in every way. Pros: Staff...very nice and helpful. Clean and Pretty hotel...was recently updated. Quiet...I am a light sleeper and had a room on the back side which was perfect for me. Breakfast...lots of choices and the girl who runs it is lovely. Location Cons: Your "do not disturb" sign will not keep them out of your room in the morning. I ran down to breakfast, and when I came back they were in my room...and I had left everything out. It did make me uncomfortable that the sign didn't deter them from coming in. Apparently they are on a floor by floor schedule, so if you don't want them coming in, you need to call the front desk and tell them. Or, you can use the in room safe, which is actually free. Smallish rooms. It would have helped if the person who complained on here about the rooms being small had mentioned that he stayed in a single. A single is super tiny. The room is barely longer then the length of the twin bed. The shower is also tiny...really tiny. If you want a bathtub, you need to request it when you book! I would definitely stay here again, only next time I would book a double room and pay a little extra.
“First time to Rome but not the last!”
I was very pleased with my room, it was small but it was a single room. An option I wish American hotels would offer. I don't need a 300 sq ft room and a king size bed when it's just me. The included breakfast had a good selection of pastries and juices but the coffee was the equivalent of Nescafe, not what I want when in Rome. The breakfast room had a musty smell to it probably because it was in the basement, it is to be expected in basements after all so no big deal to me I went across the street for coffee and pastries because I wanted better coffee. Back to the room, it had a mini tub but big enough for me to take a bath and I'm over 6 ft tall. They had the best selection of toiletries that I've ever seen. But the towels had a musty smell like the basement. Not a big deal to me but to someone more sensitive it might be. The TV actually had 2 channels that were in English and a wide selection of pay per view movies in English. There was internet but not WIFI which I only used once. I don't like to read e-mail on vacation! There was a charming little balcony with a view of a courtyard like alley, The view reminded me of something themed by Disney but this was real Rome. The bed was a single wide but quite comfortable, only a set of sheets and the bed spread, no blanket. The location was fantastic don't be put off by not being on a driveable street it was only steps around the corner to where I was dropped off, and picked up like the Trevi fountain maybe 30 yards.
“Very impressed”
Absolutely loved this hotel. I did a huge amount a research about the hotels in Rome (this was my first visit) and the one common comment that I noted was that most Americans were not pleased with the size or quality of their hotels rooms. Boutique Hotel Trevi was beautiful, spacious, immaculate and the staff was extremely friendly. They even sent a complimentary bottle of champagne to our room on the first night. Ask for a room on the fifth floor they have walk out balconies with a spectacular view. Great location just steps from the Trevi fountain. Lots of great shops and places to eat right outside the hotel doors. I cant wait to go back.
