Great place for the price.Posted Apr 21, 2014
We were met outside the building by Flavio who showed us around and explained how to use everything. We had access to our own bathroom and were given breakfast too. Lovely place!

Only benefit is near to the train stationPosted Dec 30, 2013
Terrible old house with lack of care. House is hard to find with no label outside the building and the address given was not specific enough. The windows are so bad that when strong wind blow, the window make creepy noise as if it is going to break. Doesn't feel comfortable at all.

The hotel itself was very good. Our only complaint and it is not any fault of the hotel is that there are barking dogs all day long and they have the garbage/recycle bins right at the entrance which the city likes to pick up in the middle of the night and they don't do all the pick-up at the same time but spread it out over three nights. There is noise from the upstairs tenants because of poor insulation. But overall not a bad place to stay.

Pleasantly SurprisedPosted Jun 19, 2013 on Hotels.com
Having just come from a supposedly first class but cramped and ultra basic hotel room, we were pleasantly surprised that we inadvertently booked our first bed and breakfast arrangement. Fortunately, we used a taxi from the airport with a nice driver who had GPS and a cellphone, otherwise it would have been difficult to find the 3rd floor room inside an apartment. After that first obstacle, everything was a pleasant surprise. The room was large and luxurious, shared dinner and kitchen areas made you feel at a large mansion and the shared bathroom was almost as large as the cramped expensive hotel room we just came from. The neighborhood is safe and the Metro station and the regional train station was an easy 10 minute walk away. We became train experts quickly and were confident enough to ride the train back to the Fiucimino airport instead of a taxi on our way home. Highly recommended for families, friends and couples who dont mind the 10 minute smooth walk from the train station which connects you to all of Rome and Italy. 3 large rooms and 2 shared bathrooms + dining area + kitchen + excellent wifi internet + balcony+ continental breakfast = highly recommended bed and breakfast. PS Be sure to wait for the email from the owner or take note of his cellphone number so that you can call him when you are outside the unmarked building (save for the number 36 and a diagnostic clinic. street name is not so obvious)

Casa del Soe is only a namePosted May 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
After 200Euros Taxi meter, we found the address, nobody answered the phone or the door of the "Casa Del Sole",an empty condo in a heavy reparation building a hazard for anybody around. Finally an italian secure representative of the American Hotel, contacted the owner of that condo and Hotels.com and cancel our reservation. I received an apology E-mail from Casa del Sole explaining they do not live there and only open it when they have a guess.

Pros: Price, location to metro
Cons: Difficulty finding it initially
Location: Good access to metro
Difficult to find, no sign posts/label on door. Once inside it was good value.
