I can not say enough positive things about this property. The location is great. Not as close to some of the main tourist attractions as other hotels (which we liked since it was our second stay in Rome) but still very convenient if you want to see them. You can easily walk to many restaurants and shops. It also has a taxi line close and the metro is right outside of the building. The decor and extra attention to details are remarkable. The owner was wonderful and you get breakfast delivered to your room. If we make it back to Rome I will try to book with Casa Montani.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend to friends and family. Great location. Accommodations were great. Andrea was super helpful, even going out of his way to retrieve sunglasses we realized we had left behind at a nearby restaurant. A lovely breakfast. Was a terrific start to our trip in Italy.

Exceptional level of care and kindness
The location was perfect and the checkin was seamless. Andrea is wonderful, so kind and he (and the rest of the staff) went above and beyond to make my trip comfortable. I hurt my foot on a post in the bedroom and had to rest it for a day. Andrea kindly went to get me medicine from the pharmacy and food from outside as i couldn’t walk. I found this so thoughtful and I was very grateful. He also has excellent chat. I will definitely stay at Casa Montani again next time I’m in Rome.

Casa Montani is an excellent location for walking through Rome. Wonderfully clean with a fast and friendly online check- in procedure. Immaculate decor and service. Building is very safe and the host Andrea is friendly and helpful. Perfect continental breakfast. Would highly recommend!

Nice place, good breakfast, but try and avoid Room 2. Its small and dark and very close to reception so you can hear all phone calls to the hotel.

Just got home from 3 nights in Rome, and the hotel was magical. The rooms and building were beautiful and so clean, the comfiest bed and great service with breakfast delivered to the room every morning. The location couldn’t have been any better, just a short walk through Piazza Popolo to the shops, restaurants and iconic Roman monuments. Would 100% recommend this hotel, will definitely pass on to relatives and friends looking to visit Rome

Very comfortable place with helpful staff
Casa Montani is a hotel/apartment combo- the room feels like an apartment and was very comfortable, and there isn't a lobby per se like at a hotel. The room was unbelievably quiet considering the location (Which is on a busy street with a bus stop adjacent)- if you are taking the Metro it couldn't be more convenient--and you are outside the walls of the city but right by the Borghese gardens and Piazza Popolo. The proprietors were extremely friendly and the woman who delivered the breakfast was so cheerful and kind. Great and comfortable place, especially if you want to be in the campo fiori neighborhood. Do note that there aren't a lot of charming places right near by-- you have to walk back into the city walls.

Perfect stay with a great location.
Wonderful guest house, beautifully decorated room and very clean. Andrea and the house cleaning staff made us feel very welcome. Probably the most comfortable bed we have slept in so far in Italy. Wonderful breakfast that was brought to your room. Andrea’s recommendations for site visiting and restaurants was spot on especially the restaurant Babette which is a must. Location was perfect with the tram and the subway right outside the door which we used to go to the colosseum, Olympic Stadium for the football/soccer game and the Train Terminal. Also within walking distance to the Vatican City and away from all the crowds. Andrea and Charlotte were very helpful too when I lost my phone/wallet in cab before we left and would like to you again for all your help. Will definitely stay here again.

I liked the overall look of the room and the continental breakfast delivered into our room each morning. We didn't have very hot water for showers. There was not sheet on the bed.

A fabulous boutique hotel in a great location near Villa Borghese. Every detail has been considered, from the huge, comfy bed, sound proofed walls and Diptique products to the delicious continental breakfast delivered to your room every morning (we ate ours on the room’s balcony).. The staff are attentive but discreet and give local tips on restaurants and sightseeing upon arrival. We didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay here again.

Perfectly clean and wonderfully silent at all times. Yvonne was exceptional at breakfast and cleaning and was so pleasant always. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of help with transportation and suggestions for things to do in Rome. The rooms had undergone an impeccable renovation.

This hotel/guest house was an absolute delight. From the moment we arrived Andrea and the house keeping staff made us feel welcome and were very friendly making us feel at home for our stay. The room has to be one of cleanest I’ve stayed in, the attention to detail was second to none topped off with an extremely comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was great and all you needed to do was ring house keeping when you we’re ready for it to be brought to your room. Andrea was a wealth of knowledge pointing us to restaurants and sites to see. Would 100% recommend this place to friends and family

The staff here is perhaps the friendliest group of people I have ever encountered in all my years of traveling. They took 10-15 minutes to go over a map of the city with us after check in to show us all of the places we should eat, shop and sightsee. It was very helpful and thoughtful. The rooms were wonderfully comfortable and the hotel is in a great location for walking to everything. Get the breakfast. They serve you amazing croissants and coffee. There’s also a great little spot right around the corner that does fresh pressed veggie and fruit juices. Will absolutely stay here again next time in Rome.

Great place to stay in Rome! We spent 3 nights here and the Hotel manager, Andrea was bery helpful and attentive to the hotel services. He helped to arrange the airport pick up services and explained the Rome best places to visit. Hotel rooms was very clean, smell nice and wi-fi available. Even it’s a bit small, but still nice and cozy.. Well reccomended place to stay in Rome..

Casa Montani was absolutely perfect
Was blown away by my stay here. Not only the level of friendless and service, but also the room accommodations and location. The location was just far away from the center of tourists but literally across the street from the Piazza Popolo. One of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I loved the intimacy of the town house, the comfort and modernness of the rooms, and especially the breakfast service. Now I see why Casa Montani gets such high marks.

Lovely haven in the heart of rome
I loved staying here. The hotel was very tastefully decorated, with a lovely, helpful staff and a nice, spacious room. The street outside was noisy but the moment the window was closed and the AC kicked in, it became a cool, calm haven. The location was great just next to Piazza del Popolo and the Centro Storico, and a 5 minute walk to the site of the event I was in Rome for/

Beautiful space in a great area of Rome (super convenient and lots of great amenities nearby). Staff was exceptional - they gave me great tips for lesser known Roman sights and left me snacks for my 3am departure (6am flight). I will be back!
