Not Bad, Not Good Either

Posted Aug 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
The location is in a very confusing residential area of Rome. We went for a walk and got lost on the way back to the hotel. The rooms were small and dated. Free breakfast in the morning was nice. The clerk in the evening was helpful, the one in the morning was too busy talking on the phone to help us with questions or to call a ride to the airport.

Fantastic location, room was dated

Posted Jun 6, 2014 on Hotels.com
My single room was clean and of a decent size, but the decor and amenities were a bit simple and dated. Some people find this is charming - that is up to you to decide. The location was fantastic: a 30 second walk to Ponte Sisto in Trastevere, right behind Piazza Trilussa. This means that it was a bit noisy at night however, but that comes with being so close to the hub of Roman nightlife. I didn't have breakfast there so I can't comment on this. Reception was always friendly.

Excellent position

Clean and practical in a fantastic neighbourhood. Easy walk to Roman Forum, Piazza Navona and Janiculum. Excellent parking at the hotel and very quiet despite being in a busy neighbourhood. Loads of good restaurants nearby. Good value. Will go back.

Casa San Giuseppe -- great location in Rome

Posted Apr 10, 2012 on Hotels.com
The hotel was very plain and there were "no frills", but it was very clean, the staff was helpful, and the surrounding neighborhood was great and a lot of fun. The walk to major areas was reasonable. I would stay here again.

Casa San GUiseppe

ONly downside to this hotel were reception staff were not very friendly. Also would have been nice out of all tv stations to at least have had one in english. Also would have been nice to have a tea tray in room which doesn' really add to cost and is a nice touch. Otherwise breakfast, cleanliness and location etc were all ok. Considering location our room was lovely and quiet.
