“Quaint”

It was perfect for what we needed. A place to sleep and close to the train so we could easily get to the center of Rome! We enjoyed our stay in our quaint room!

“Fast, Friendly, and nearly Free: All in All -- A Bargain (4 out of 5)”

The bad news first. My major complaint is the hotel had my room AC and refrigerator thermostat controls rigged, so I could not chill out. As a result, it wasn't possible to quickly cool down from the 90+ degree F heat outdoors after walking from the nearby train station. The refrigerator temp was not cold enough to keep my beer chilled, or adjustable, either. That is a shame, too, since there was a grocery store next to the train station (FS). Otherwise, I was satisfied. For one, I was able to save many Euros on transportation. It was only a casual 15 minute walk to and from the Ciampino FS and hotel through a safe residential neighborhood -- day and night. From this FS, you could get to and from both the Ciampino airport on the bus and the Termini FS in central Rome in 15 minutes for 1,20 and 2,30 Euro respectively. That's a half hour each way between the hotel and both destinations on modes of transport that run frequently for a lot less than the 20-30 Euro it would have cost for a taxi. Finally, the English-speaking staff were extremely courteous, attentive, and helpful; although, the all Italian language TV channels were useless, but then how much time do you spend in your room anyways. Remember, in the end, you get what you pay for! All in all, I was satisfied with the Ciampino Hotel; I feel like I got my moneys worth for my three nights there.

“Clean small hotel”

I like it. Most of the the front desk people are nice. Breakfast is not much, only bread, juice and coffee, but it's good for the money. A little far from Rome down town, but the train station is 800 meters walking distance. I would stay again.

“Ciampino Hotel OK for a couple of nights.”

It is a very simple hotel but it is clean and confortable, it is not that close to the airport but it is very near to the train station in order to get to Termini in Rome. It has very good prices and the attention from the reception is very good, they are very nice with costumers and speak good English. I would reccomend this to students or people who are traveling in a low budget because it's not fancy but it is a good place to stay.

“alright”

This hotel is not located in Rome but in a little suburb of Rome about 20 mins away by train. The train station is only about about a mile away. There are two restaurants near by ( I recommend King Arthurs, amazing food) and a grocery store by the train station. The staff were helpful and polite. Our shower leaked in our room and we informed the desk and they had maintence "fix" it the following day. We could see that they tried to fix it but it still leaked...but it was nice that they tried. We stayed at this hotel two separate times in about a weeks time and during our first stay one of the maids left our patio door completely open. We informed the desk about the incident and they didn't seem concerned or apologetic. Nothing was taken from our room but we were still not very happy. The rooms were clean, a little old but clean. Our first room was missing about half of its' lightbulbs and in our second room the fridge was broken. I would say this hotel is a good idea for young adults, people on a budget, or flying out of Ciampino airport but if you are use to a little nicer of hotels I may look elsewhere. I, personally, am not sure if I would or wouldn't return.

“Out of the way for Rome”

If you're only going to be staying one night and flying out of Ciampino then I would say it would be fine to stay at this hotel. If you're planning on visiting Rome, then I wouldn't recommend it. It's out of the way, although it's easy to reach Rome by train. The hotel isn't in very good condition. The fridge in our room didn't work, our shower leaked every where, the beds were uncomfortable and one even broke while we were there, and to top it off, one day the maid left our door open so that anyone could have walked in and stolen our stuff and when we reported it to the front desk they didn't seem very apologetic or helpful about the situation. The restaurant, however, did have pretty good food, but the breakfast was awful. The neighborhood the hotel is in seemed a little shady at first but after walking around for a few days, it wasn't so bad.

“Hard to locate”

Room was OK, but hotel was hard to locate. I just needed a one night stay to catch a fly next day at Ciampino's airport, but we (me and the cab driver) had a hard time trying to locate the hotel (a big issue when the meter is around sixty euros). I got there late (around midnight), and couldn't find a place to hace something to eat.

“Basic Hotel”

It is a basic hotel were to stay only in case you need to fly from the Ciampino airport very early in the morning. Not easy to find even if its on the perimeter of the airport. The room was not very clean.
