Courtyard by Marriott airport hotelPosted Dec 29, 2013
Very convenient. Airport shuttle to hotel. Staff were excellent. Very good value for money. Would definitely use again when flying into Rome.

Check in ProblemPosted Dec 23, 2013
Pros: It's proximity to the airport
Cons: Better rates for fewer hours.
All in all my stay was nice for less than a day between flights. However, at check in they couldn't locate my name/reservation and that took them quite a while before I could be checked in. But after the issue was resolved, all went well.

not badPosted Dec 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is not exactly in a great area. The hotel itself is a typical Marriott with nice rooms and great service. We arrived late and they made a pizza at 11 pm for my wife. I thought it was a bit tacky that despite billing itself as a "airport hotel" you are charged 15 euros ($19.50) each for a 10 minute ride to the airport. Its a comfortable bed if you have an early international flight home.

It was a very disappointing experience! The hotel is tired-looking and is certainly not up to Marriot standards. Staff were helpful on check-in but very unhelpful on check-out even though I had indicated that we had a taxi booked for the airport and that it was arriving in five minutes. I will be writing to Marriot headquarters about the above. As well, it was outrageous to have to pay 24 euros for two couples for a five minute ride on Marriot's shuttle from the airport to the hotel.

Well run hotel near airportPosted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Early morning flight so stayed here. Staff recommended a great place on the sea for a late lunch. Happy hour for 10 Euros included a drink and many appetizers. Most of the staff spoke English - all very helpful and friendly.

MediocrePosted Nov 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Mediocre, this Marriott in Rome did not live up to UK standards - the room was cold, and the heating could not be turned on until 1st November, which didn't help me in October. The bed was hard - not the sumptuous kind you find in the UK. And the food was disappointing in my opinion. Staff were friendly, but I would not stay there again. They apologized and said the hotel was going to be revamped in January 2014.

not as convenient as advertisedPosted Nov 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
my husband and I stayed here the night before an early morning flight to save on the travel time to the airport- we did not know until we got there that the hotel shuttle was 6 euro per person, and didn't start running until 6am- since we had a 6 am flight we had to take a taxi to the airport which was 2 miles away, and cost 20 euro. we had stayed here to save money, and we ended up not saving anything due to the expensive taxi ride, and sacrificed in comfort for nothing.
