RelativelyGoodPosted Sep 11, 2014
Pros: Space - kitchen, big bathroom, outdoor area which was massive and well kept.
Location: Good location, near lots of restaurants, supermarket and transport.
Overall it was good but the wifi was out for 3 days and I rang numerous times with the front desk saying it was good for them, basically bad luck. It was good having a washing machine, outdoor area and kitchen. Decoration was basic, think of a 1960's beach house. If you are looking for space, this place is good. Loads of restaurants near by.

Lovely hotel close to termini, very handy to walk.Posted Sep 9, 2014
Pros: The rooms were absolutely quiet and you could shut out the light. Wifi is included and they young woman who served breakfast went out of her way.
Location: Many things are walkable so well located easy to and from the train station and buses.
We stayed here for three nights in the middle of our three part trip. Crosti is a lovely hotel. We could check in when we arrived and the room was ready. They arranged two tours for us and we were picked up at the hotel. Breakfast and the serving person were excellent. Breakfast had many choices including pastries, meats, yogurt, fresh cut fruit and robust coffee!

Hotel close to Roma TerminiPosted Jun 15, 2014
Pros: This hotel is 10 minutes walk from Roma Termini (where you go for Double-decker tour buses, trains, buses)
Location: it's about 10 minutes walk from Roma Termini. No restaurants or shops around. Well, all is about 5-10 minutes walk.
We only stayed here 2 nights so I can't really say much except that it was close to Roma Termini (about 10 minutes walk). We got an apartment, so the apartment is NOT in the same building as the Hotel Reception.. it was maybe 5 minutes walk. The bell boy helped us with hauling our suitcases and showing us around the apt. I thought this part was a bit weird because if you needed something from Reception, well, better call them instead of walking there! The apt was clean and basic. All dishes and utensils, fridge, stove, washer in apt. convenient for a long stay in Rome. All restaurants and shops are a few minutes walk. We'd walk 10 minutes to Roma Termini and take the double-decker tour bus to get around. Overall good clean hotel.

crosti apartments. RomePosted Jun 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
We stayed here for a week.It. was wonderful. They even insisted that they load the dishwasher. We locked ourselves out and they gave our son another key and let us keep it. No noise at night and very near the train. Staff were very friendly. Pay the little extra and book well in advance.

Close to TerminiPosted May 25, 2014
Pros: Clean. Nice staff.Close enough to walk to all of the attractions.
Cons: They charge a 4 euro per day tax when you depart. It would be nice if they included it in the on line booking, but that is minor.
Location: A 20 minute walk to the closest attractions.
Great Hotel. The neighborhood is not right in the tourist area so you get a good feel for the rest of the city. It is one mile from Trevi and 1.5 miles from The Pantheon. Hotel is in excellent condition and the staff was excellent and made us feel welcome. The crowd around the train station is a little rough, but this hotel is about a ten minute walk from the Termini. There is a little BAR right across the street from the hotel which sells snacks and sodas to go, etc. The lady who makes the breakfast is very nice and does a very good job. It contains enough variety to please everybody, and there is plenty of food. She makes excellent cappuccino, and speaks very good English (among several other languages). The front desk arranged our ride to the airport and it was on time and worth the money. It took slightly longer than the train, but we did not have to drag our stuff to the Termini, and then drag it into the airport.

Nice Hotel near TerminiPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: Is a little gem near Termini Station and from there to all Rome and Italy.
Cons: The matter about the a/c, the energy crisis is everywhere but in any part of the world I have been a guest to an hotel have this problem.
Location: Near Termin, near supermarkets, several restaurants in the same street, near plaza de la Republica.
I have been in this hotel several years ago, I like because is near Termini Train and Metro station, there is a lot of places you can walk to, is clean, the staff is very polite and servicial. The included breakfast is so, so. The only problem to me is not related directly to the hotel responsability: There was no air condicionated, seems that by law all the hotels depending the season can not turn on the a/c, so I guess is something to save energy. So, we have to open the windows and listen all the noises in the street, and at least the saturday was all night, the sunday was a little less (or we were more tired). The wifi is ok and included, but I can get a good signal from my room, so I have to go to the reception and write from there.

Great room, good locationPosted May 14, 2014
We stayed in a "junior suite" at the apartment annexation. The room was larger than we expected, especially knowing some previous Italy hotel rooms. We had a fridge and stove and even a microwave, although unfortunately the microwave did not work and our leftovers went for nought. Both the hotel and apartment are closer to Castro Pretirio station than Termini, so keep that in mind if you have lots of luggage. In fact, the apartment was about a 1 minute walk from the metro station. Room was kept clean daily and had good water pressure in the shower and even had a hair dryer. Try the nearby restaurant Mamma Angelinas. All the waiters spoke English and very good food. Overall, definitely would stay at the hotel again. Just beware of other people in the apartment not shutting the doors to the elevator behind them. If the doors are left open, the elevator will not run. Very inconvenient at times. Still a great experience.

Wonderful location and room conditionPosted May 14, 2014
Pros: We liked it very much! Will definitely stay there again next time when we visit Rome.
Location: It is super close to supermarket and Rome Termini rail way station as well as subway station. Nice restaurants and cafes around this area.
We got an one-bedroom apartment suite which has a lot of space. It is really rare to get this much space in Rome for this price.

Good stay, helpful staffPosted May 13, 2014
The man at the front desk was great. I can't remember his name, but he had family in Canada, and our group of 4 talked with him at length each time we left or returned to the hotel. People may get scared off by the area, but once you see the rest of Rome, you realize you're safe and sound. Great little family restaurants and a super busy, and delicious, gelato place just two blocks away. Breakfast was good, room was spacious enough, and very clean. I'd stay again.
