This is a very nice hotel, located at the heart of Rome. We really enjoyed the time we spent at the hotel. The staff was very nice and friedly.

Great location, but cramped for family of 4.Posted Dec 2, 2013
Great location. Close to most major sites, however plan on doing a lot of walking! Our room (an executive apt) had a mini fridge, stove top, pots & pans, etc and a Bialetti espresso maker. Our kids each had a single bed in the living room, while we had a queen bed in the separate bedroom. We also had a bedroom in the loft upstairs, but we never used it, as unless you are very tiny, it is hard to access. There was not enough space to put away clothes, so we mostly had to live out of our suitcases. The staff were okay (night staff particularly kind) and arranged our taxi home for us. There are lots of restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Don't accept the flowers on the Spanish Steps! Beware of scammers trying to guilt you into paying them after "giving you" roses!

Perfect locationPosted Nov 11, 2013
First trip to rome with my wife and 2 yr old daughter. This hotel was perfect for us, the location meant that we really could walk everywhere... Piazza navona, pantheon, coliseum, roman forum, trevi fountain all within 10 mins, Spanish steps not much more, and Vatican about 30 mins. Great as we did not have to use public transport with the stroller, and all walks in rome are scenic. The apartment was company but ideal. Very modern, the only thing missing was a clothes iron. A cot was provided free of charge for my daughter. Bed was very firm, but actually very comfortable and probably good for your back!

Location! Location! Location!Posted Oct 31, 2013
We stayed six nights---our home away from home. We were in the middle of everything, but the apt. was so quiet we nearly slept till noon in the mornings! The staff couldn't be more friendly. Compared to a hotel room, this was heaven--it gave us and our 12-year-old plenty of walking around space. The cafe on the corner was very kid-friendly and handy, too. We loved the common terrace, the film star-themed rooms, the maid service, the comfort. We would recommend Dolce Vita Residence to anyone for a well-priced, wonderfully located Rome getaway. We were half a block from Vittoria Emmanuel Monument, and a few blocks from Trevi Fountain, the Forum, Capitoline Hill, the Colosseum, and the Spanish Steps. Can it get any better???

Central location, lovely apartmentPosted Sep 3, 2013
Pros: The staff are very friendly and helpful, and all speak wonderful English. The air conditioning is very good. Comfortable, clean, stylish.
Cons: Microwave, perhaps. But it's a minor point.
Location: Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Spanish Steps all close. We took one of the open-top bus tours which you can pick up on the Piazza Venezia close by.
My husband and two children (15 and 11) and I had three nights at the Dolce Vita at the end of August. We had a lovely time. It is centrally located, with the Trevi Fountain, Colosseum and Spanish Steps all within easy walking distance - great because it was lovely to go back to the air-conditioned apartment to cool down and rest a little before setting out again. And the Piazza Venezia, literally around the corner, is beautiful too. A great base for a exploring a marvellous city.

Excellent LocationPosted Sep 2, 2013
Pros: The layout of the apartment was good. It was also clean and spacious.
Location: Excellent Location. Able to get to Trevi Fountains early morning before the crowds and drink coffee in a nearby side street. Lovely!
All major sites within walking distant. Located down a side street that gave a real feel of Rome. Comfortable , clean accomodation with friendly staff giving a homely base from which to explore .

Great locationPosted Aug 6, 2013
Pros: Central location
Location: 5 minute walk to many sites.
Great central location but very quiet. Wonderfully helpful staff, even let me use their computer to print out tickets. Comfortable and clean. Some of the electrical gadgets didnt work but as we had booked two appartments what didnt work in one we used in the other so it was not a big issue.
