Not for long term stay

Posted May 21, 2015
Pros: The room was large.
Cons: A full length mirror, lights in the area, an ATM near, a good restaurant, better trash handling......
Location: There is nothing to do near by
The hotel is outside Rome. Not many stores or amenities. In fact there are 3 stores and 3 restaurants within walking distance. The nearest restaurant was expensive and the food inedible. The other two served up reasonable pizza and pasta dishes, only. Still, both brought on gastric disturbances amid unfriendly service. By departure date, I could keep nothing down. The hotel was interesting. Items went missing a lot. A power converter was located at the front desk following my complaining it was missing. Soap and towels could not be had after 5pm, regardless if none had been supplied. The kitchenette in the room, complete with 2 burners, silverware, dishes and pots and pans, were said on the next to last day that the burners were only to heat up water. I believe the coffee pot served other duties. In any event, 3 times the room lost power. The entire hotel's power turned off. Each time I was told it was my fault that the power shut off. The first time just because, the second time due to my cleaning the burners off with a wet cloth and the third time because I was using the burners to actually cook breakfast (something no restaurant in the area served). Outside trash was everywhere and you had to walk in the street to avoid it. The streets were dark and many times I stumbled and fell because it couldn't be seen. Thought the smell of the trash never diminished. No ATM close and the bus cost was something only tourist were made to pay. Told I had to settle prior to leaving?????

Buona la posizione rispetto all'aeroporto

Posted Apr 22, 2015

Close to the airport

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: The room was very comfortable and well equiped for a business traveler ( desk, computer plug in, ect )
Cons: Communication ; I should have been told about the locked gate in the am ; I believe they said it was only locked at night. no staff present in the am.
Location: I could not find anything to do. I could have taken a taxi someplace but this would have been difficult when you do not know where to go.
The Hotel itself was lovely, but it is located in an odd area of Rome where there very few restaurants within walking distance, or any other stores for that matter. I arrived there around noon and there was very little to do to entertain myself. This made for a very long day. This Hotel is gated and I was not aware that this gate would be locked in the am. My transport to the airport had arrived and I was locked in. I envisioned climbing over the gate, but then remembered that the staff had given me the key when I checked in. Also,I really do have the expectation that the room would have a way to make coffee, but no instant or grounds for brewing were provided.
