Great hotel walking distance to nearly everythingPosted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: Location: great situation for all the amenities, including shopping, churches, museums, colosseum and the restaurants in the Monti district.
Cons: tea and Coffee in rooms would be nice more English tv basically just had CNN and BBC modernise and soundproof the run down noisy rooms
Location: colosseum 20 minutes walk trevi fountain Spanish steps 15 minutes walk quirinale churches Monti district shopping cafés and restaurant
I stayed here twice within a fortnight the first stay I had a lovely modern small very quiet room which looked onto an ally the second time I had a run down very tired old looking very very noisy room with an uncomfortable bed. Didn't have breakfast included but lots of cafés nearby. One cafe across the street did yummy large cappuccino and croissant for 5euro for breakfast. Wifi worked well with no problems. The two stays were the total opposite of each other I was happy the first time not so happy the second time.

Beautiful hotel in great locationPosted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Everything was wonderful and thoroughly exceeded my expectations.
Location: Within walking distance to almost all attractions and 5 minutes from the metro and termini. The location is just about Central for everything.
Definitely had the wow factor and well worth the money. Very helpful staff who go out of their way to help. This was the first city break where I didn't want to leave and the bed was more comfortable than my own. Clean linen every morning and replenishment of toiletries along with little extras (sewing kit, plasters and shoe shine). Large variety of choice for breakfast and plenty of it too, catering for all tastes. The main bus routes pass right outside the hotel for those who wish to travel outside of Rome. I will return definitely to this hotel and would thoroughly recommend to all without hesitation.

Good hotel in excellent locationPosted Apr 10, 2014
Pros: Clean, staff spoke good English and an excellent location for sightseeing. The staff were also very helpful. The food for breakfast was also good.
Cons: The rooms were a little dark but not really a problem.
Location: Excellent location. Close to the Colloseum, Roman Forum, Trajan's Column. Termini Strain Station, sightseeing buses,Trevi Fountain
I stayed in this hotel last weekend and was very pleased with the choice. It was clean, the hotel staff all spoke good English and the location was excellent as it was within easy walking distance of the Colloseum, Roman Forum, Termini train station and shops/restaurants. Rome is a fantastic city and this hotel provides a great base to explore from!

Friendly hotel in the city centre but....Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff and its location.
Cons: Yes, provide air conditioning in the rooms, maintain the shower and increase the size of the bed!
Location: Situated within easy walking distance (or access to public transport) of most of the sites that the visitor would want to do.
We were pleased to have a hotel in the heart of the city. It is very well positioned for easy access to all the major sites and to public transport. However the website said that the room should have air conditioning. It hadn't so the window had to be opened at night and as we were on the side of the room facing the very noisy main road - you can guess the rest. The room was smallish, as was the bed and the shower was 'tired' and needed help. The staff were excellent and very helpful in giving friendly advice and ordering taxis which arrived within seconds (although they said it should take them 4 minutes!!).

Location, location, location!Posted Apr 5, 2014
Rome was our honeymon destination. After a long flight it was wonderful to arrive at such wonderful acomodations. Staff was very friendly. Location was the best. We were 5 minutes (walking distance) from Roma Termini. There was no need for taxis. We walked to all the major attractions. Finding a place to eat was not a problem. Nice souvenirs shops on Via Nazionale. Would definetly recommend it!!!!

No wifi signal at allPosted Mar 16, 2014
We booked a double room, they put us on the first floor, over seeing nothing but a back alley type of places. room size is ok, got tv, But, wifi signal is terrible to a point that we can connect to the sign in point . On top, the hotel told us there will not be water on the second day.

Great price, decent accommodationsPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: location location location
Cons: room temperature, mattress quality
Location: lots of shopping, walkable to everything in Rome
Our room was small, as expected. It was just my husband and me, and we didn't spend a lot of time in the hotel, so it was fine. It was also hot, and we had to open the windows to cool it down, and the street was noisy, so that was less than ideal. The bathroom smelled like pee or mildew. The bed was very firm and not very comfortable. We felt safe in and around the hotel. The bathroom included an American outlet and some basic toiletries, including body wash. The property has at least two or three elevators. We booked this hotel as one of Expedia's secret deals where they don't tell you the name or exact location of the hotel until after you've paid for the room (nonrefundable). Including all taxes and fees, I think it was about $70/night in February (that includes the 3 euro/person/night tax charged directly by the property upon checkout). I haven't stayed in any other hotel in Rome, so I don't have anything to really compare it to. The hotel is just a couple of blocks from a Metro stop, but it is also walking distance to pretty much everything in Rome, which was awesome. We walked to the Vatican, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, etc. etc. etc.

Downtown Rome, decent stayPosted Mar 3, 2014
Good hotel with renovated rooms in an old building. Hard to find as there's a very small sign street side. Almost impossible parking but found a parking structure on Via Napoli a block away for a mere 25euro/day… Bathroom fixtures were a bit shaky but did the job. All staff seemed helpful and accommodating. No real issues. It's definitely a safe place to stay.
