Clean hotel in a terrible locationPosted Jan 29, 2014
The hotel was very clean and staff was very polite. However when we asked for a iron they said they could not give any and that we had to use the laundry service which was so expensive. This is a four star hotel so i would expect a kettle and cups for tea inside the room but was not avaliable. Outside the hotel there were hookers and drug dealers so not ideal place for families staying!

Good for the price!Posted Jan 10, 2014
Pros: I like the cleanliness, You have to choose an interior room if you don't want to hear the train in your window..
Cons: The attitude of the main front personal , Sometimes are so rude.
Location: You can take the bus in front of the hotel, I don't like the nearby , look not secure.
If you don't care move Roma in metro, bus etc is ok. Taxi cost around 20 E moving to the center one way.

A very new hotel for a very low costPosted Dec 26, 2013
Pros: Mentioned above
Cons: WIFI connection, more toiletries and less noisy cleaning staff
Location: Very bad neighborhood, very distant from the main attraction, the 2 bus lines from/to the hotel are really pacted during the rush hours with hawkers
Thumb up for cleanness, good size and the modern design Thumb down for the location ( completely out of atraction area and very bad neighborhood), WIFI connection, scarcity of toiletries, lack of sound proof isolation of the room and very, very noisy cleaning staff

Location: Not a lot to do nearby, some travel involved to the tourist sites.
a bit far from the tourist locations, and not in a fantastic area, that said it was sufficient, and the breakfast was good. We asked the breakfast rate on checkin and was told it was €12 on the day or €8 if added to the reservation. The checkin person added it to our reservation for us at €8.

a pleasant surprisePosted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: modern and clean with a helpful staff.
Cons: see above
Location: found a small restaurant only a block away that catered to a younger crowd with very reasonable prices. very pleased with this "find".
not particularly close to anything....but not too far away, either. bus is in front of hotel and it takes you to downtown quickly. hotel desk is extremely helpful and did more than the basics. we needed to conversion plugs (electric) and they provided them for us free. my only complaint is that i had to pay for the breakfast buffet. it would have been nice if expedia had included that in the price...or at least, given me the option. i would have paid more for the room with breakfast included.

Nice place in iffy areaPosted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels.com
Staff could not have been nicer. Room was small but user friendly. I was worried about being adjacent to railway tracks and a road, but windows were double double glazed so no noise issues. The area Pignetto i have visited before for a particular restaurant Primo Roma, which is very good. The rest of the area is run down and not up and coming as some describe. It is really run down. It is a good value however.
