Location: Not a lot to do nearby, some travel involved to the tourist sites.
a bit far from the tourist locations, and not in a fantastic area, that said it was sufficient, and the breakfast was good. We asked the breakfast rate on checkin and was told it was €12 on the day or €8 if added to the reservation. The checkin person added it to our reservation for us at €8.

a pleasant surprisePosted Nov 17, 2013
Pros: modern and clean with a helpful staff.
Cons: see above
Location: found a small restaurant only a block away that catered to a younger crowd with very reasonable prices. very pleased with this "find".
not particularly close to anything....but not too far away, either. bus is in front of hotel and it takes you to downtown quickly. hotel desk is extremely helpful and did more than the basics. we needed to conversion plugs (electric) and they provided them for us free. my only complaint is that i had to pay for the breakfast buffet. it would have been nice if expedia had included that in the price...or at least, given me the option. i would have paid more for the room with breakfast included.

Rosanna and Martina in the restaurant were tops!Posted Nov 5, 2013
Pros: Convenient location. Wonderful bar staff. Modern accommodations. It was truly beautiful.
Cons: WiFi was very poor. So slow that I couldn't do anything online.
Location: Great market behind the hotel that turns into a great street at night with cafe's and bars.

stylish rather than comfortablePosted Oct 30, 2013
Cons: more comfortable seating areas
Location: not the best location, public transport required for most things
not within walking distance of anything ,bus stop outside has good transport links 105 to termini,81 for main tourist sites ,immediate area a bit scary, especially at night block E rooms very noisy, no tea/coffee facilities in rooms, excellent Jacuzzi baths ,much appreciated at the end of the day

Nice hotel with a few drawbacksPosted Oct 24, 2013
Pros: The rooms are clean. The rooms are nice and the price included breakfast. I did like the hotel.
Cons: WiFi slow & didn't work most of the time. Shower door leaked onto the floor. The jets in the tub didn't work. Towel racks didn't heat. Some TV worked.
Location: It's near a college and a bus station. It's a 15 minute walk to the metro but that's through a part of town that I wouldn't want to walk at night.
The hotel is ok. The place is nice but some of the things in our room didn't work, enough to the point that you wonder how often they check the rooms. The only thing that really bothered me was the shower because it leaked on the floor everytime you took a shower. I know the European shower doors are different but this one was missing the seal at the bottom of the door. The hotel is far from the metro but close to a bus station which works out ok. We ended up taking a lot of cabs to and from the hotel because I didn't feel too comfortable with part of the walk to the metro and I never really figured out the bus schedule. It's easy to find a metro map but almost impossible to find a bus route map. The hotel is close to the main rail lines so you can feel the trains when they come in. I was worried that I wouldn't be able to sleep because of this but I slept just fine. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff was great. They spoke good English too which was great because we're not very fluent in Italian.

Nice hotel for the pricePosted Oct 18, 2013
Nice hotel. Clean. Staff is very helpful. Wifi isn't great. A little far from the sights, but it is right on a bus line.

Disappointing service, staffing and cleanlinessPosted Oct 18, 2013
Paid top dollar for a four night stay but disappointed with level of cleanliness and service. Have highlighted major disappointments for those looking to book this hotel. Poor staffing: A four start hotel run by bare staff. Hardly two people managing the entire hotel. Cleanliness: Found hair and blood stains on sheets the first night. Upon reporting, the manager provided sheets and asked us to change ourselves due to no staff. Breakfast: A rip-off!! Although breakfast timing is up to 10:30, they run out of food by 10am. No eggs or bread even. Service: Terrible!! In addition to the above incident, when requested for some food at breakfast (as they had nothing on display) we were informed they cant do anything about it. I'm talking on a weekday morning-imagine if you stay at weekends when many more might sit down to eat and there is no food. Another incident - it was raining heavily on the day of check-out and we had to catch a flight. Hotel driveway was blocked by few potted plants. Despite request the manager wont move them out of the way for taxi to come in the covered drive way. Upon saying this is no service the manager started arguing and came charging back. We got drenched while getting luggage in the taxi parked beyond those plants (although within the premises) as there was no cover. Hotel also had an underground car park but didn't allow guests/cab in the car park. Really disappointing level of service. Will never stay here again and wont recommend anyone else either.

Nice hotel just outside of the city centerPosted Oct 14, 2013
Pros: Great staff. Easy to get to popular sites without paying a high price per night. Much more hotel for the money than what I could get elsewhere.
Cons: Despite the signs saying there was a gym, I couldn't find it. The shower leaked on the floor and had for a long time by the signs of water damage.
Location: There are several nice places to eat just around the corner despite looking a little rough. The city bus is not very reliable but you can walk easily
Great hotel that stays inexpensive by seing just outside of all the sites in the city center. The unreliable city bus can be avoided by just walking into town. Local eateries can seem a little sketchy but the food and people are great regardless of first impressions.
