Great LocationPosted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: Location was excellent. Bathroom was well equipped and clean. Lobby was quiet and a pleasant place to sit.
Cons: Our fridge didn't seem to work but we didn't inform staff of this so perhaps new fridges would be an improvement.
Location: Walking distance of Colosseum, Roman Forum, Pantheon and many more amazing places. Some nice restaurants close by too.
Brilliant location, within walking distance of many top tourist attractions. Buses are very close by as is the taxi rank and booth for buying bus tickets. We were able to leave our bags for the day after we had checked out. It is just a cupboard and not monitored but our bags were fine. Free internet was useful. Staff were mostly pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect central locationPosted Jul 25, 2014
Pros: The staff were great. friendly and helpful, arranged pickup from the airport, printed off online tickets for us and always happy to give directions.
Cons: The buffet breakfast was good, but refilling empty dishes was too slow. Croissants & bread ran out quickly, and one day eggs took 25 mins to arrive
Location: Fab location, walked to all the top ten sites to see in Rome. Wish we had been told the Trevi fountain was being refurbished though!
Stayed 3 nights and walked everywhere. Our room was on the top floor at the back of the hotel with its own terrace which was great, although most of the the floorboards weren't nailed down. It was a challenge to walk on without turning an ankle! Great having a fridge for keeping our own water in but would have loved a kettle, especially as the bar and cafe was rarely open to get a drink, and room service only worked when these were open. The staff on reception were brilliant and so helpful. They arranged our pickup from the airport, were happy to print off tickets to the coliseum that we'd bought online, and although there is a cupboard to leave suitcases in if you have a late flight after checkout let us leave them behind the counter as we had valuables in them. Great with directions too.

Good LocationPosted Jul 23, 2014
The hotel has all the basic facilities in the room, however, the breakfast is not good at all. This hotel would be ideal for people who are looking to stay in a central place in the city which is near to all the tourist spots that can be reached by walking. If you are a young couple who does not really care for luxury much and would not be staying in the hotel much except at night, then this would be a good choice. Also the bus stop is right infront of the hotel.

Good central location.Posted Jun 26, 2014
Pros: Central location
Cons: Tea making facilities
Location: very central and lots to visit within walking distance for for further away sites good bus location.
As English travellers not able to bring through travelling kettle in carry on luggage we would have appreciated being able to make a cup of tea in our room, but there was nothing to enable this. Staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Great locationPosted Jun 19, 2014
My stay in Rome was very enjoyable partly as a result of the location of my hotel. Everything was in easy walking distance making it easy to return to my room during the day and go out again in the evening.

Very well situated cozy hotelPosted Jun 17, 2014
Pros: - Location - Breakfast buffet - Cleanliness
Cons: - The state of the terrace
Location: - Pantheon is 3 blocks away. - The hotel is right in between the Vatican and the Colosseum so both were a 20 min walk.
My wife and I stayed 5 nights in this hotel and we had a great experience. The hotel is incredibly well situated as we were a mere 20 min walk away from any big attraction that Rome has to offer. The staff was very nice and the complementary breakfast buffet was quite good. The only thing which we found unacceptable was the state of our private terrace. The floor was not properly nailed down so any step would send one of the wooden planks flying. The terrace was huge but riddled with bird feces indicating that it hadn't been clean in a long while.

Good location to walk to all tourist locationsPosted Jun 3, 2014
Good location, we were able to walk to all tourist attractions easily but the views weren't great. Staff didn't speak much English so ensure you take a phrase book! The pictures of the rooms make it look much more spacious than it actually is. It's comfortable and clean. Would recommend to a friend.

Nice hotel close to all of Old Rome!Posted May 19, 2014
We spent three nights here in April visiting Old Rome and were delighted with the hotel. It was centrally located to everything we wanted to see. The Vatican, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps and the Roman Forum were all within walking distance. The hotel was older, typically European but very clean. The breakfast room was in the basement but very well decorated and was probably a wine cellar. The staff was very accommodating to us and very helpful. A good ATM machine was right around the corner. Our room was small but had a comfortable bed and the bath had obviously been redone in a nice tile finish. We were very pleased and would definitely stay again.
