“One of Rome's best!”
Wonderful hotel, convenient and staff is suburb! We actually arrived earlier before check-in and they held our bags until we returned after beginning our sightseeing in Rome.
“Definitely not a 5 star hotel with regards to customer service”
The staff of the hotel are not customer friendly, the front desk and the concierge staff are not customer oriented with regards to helping the clients with the simple questions or directions of the area. This hotel catered to very rich clients and not to average clients but can afford to stay in this hotel.
“5 star lacking 2 star standards”
The Bad... This five star hotel lacked a functioning shower day 1 of our honeymoon, this was then fixed after asking 3 times and requesting a room change. Dont expect a view in room 412 or functioning tv. Oh yeah, the ice machine is broken all through out the hotel. Dont touch the minibar unless you like to pay 400% mark up. The Good... Great location, big room, and roof top pool! the pool is very helpful when it is 90 plus!
“''Excellent Hotel if booked with an offer as in Expedia''”
THE HOTEL IS EXCELLENT IT IS A REAL 5 STARS,THE SERVICE IS GOOD BUT SLOW I THINK BECAUSE IT IS HUGE AND THE STAFF IS NOT SUFFICIENT. THE PRICE IS VERY EXPENSIVE IF BOOKED DIRECTLY BY THE HOTEL AND IF YOU TAKE AN OFFER AS IN EXPEDIA THE BREAKFAST WOULD NOT BE COMPLIMENTARY AND IT COSTS 35 EUROS. MAC DONALD'S IS IN THE SAME BUILDING AND YOU CAN HAVE A BREAKFAST ,OR THERE IS A THREE MINUTES WALK SUPERMARKET. THE HOTEL OFFER A VALET PARKING SERVICE WITH FULL DAY FOR 35 EUROS. THE CHECK IN AND OUT OF THE HOTEL TOOK US FIVE MINUTES,UNLESS THERE IS A GROUP CHECKING IN FRONT OF YOU. THE ROOF POOL IS NICE BUT NOT AVAILABLE ALL TIME. ALL CAFE AND RESTAURANTS IN THE HOTEL ARE NICE BUT EXPENSIVE. THE MINI BAR IN THE ROOM IS EXPENSIVE AND ALWAYS NOT WORKING. CONCLUSION '''''IF THE PRICE IS GOOD THE HOTEL IS EXCELLENT,BUT IF YOU PAY THE WHOLE PRICE IT WOULD BE LITTLE OVERPRICED''''''
“Quality plus!”
This hotel is ideally located in Rome's city heart, right on the Piazza della Repubblica, offering easy walking access to a wide range of shops, restaurants and bars, as well as just 5 minutes walk to the Termini where you can catch the local trains around the region. The service was of a very high standard, from the porter service greeting us at the front entrance, to the reception staff. When our room was not immediately ready when we booked in, we were straight away upgraded to a deluxe room, which was very much appreciated after our long day travelling.
“Amazing Hotel in Rome, Very Impressed for Honeymoon!”
The hotel was gorgeous, clean, and very comfortable. It was in a great neighborhood and we were able to walk to everything. The rooftop was gorgeous with amazing views of the city! We opted out of room service because it was expensive, but it was our first time in Rome so why would we sit in our room?!! Only downside, our room was not ready for when we arrived and we were exhausted from our long flight from NJ. We had to go back 3x before it was ready. But other than that, we had an amazing experience there!
“Great January Experience”
The hotel was beautiful, We were given a fourth floor room with a balcony overlooking the fountain. The room had a huge bathroom everything was clean and nice. We had room service a couple of times and the food was good. The hotel is located right by the subway entrance. We used it to go to the vatican one day and had no problems. The cab fares seemed real reasonable. We did lots of walking but the hills and cobblestone streets catch up to you. So it is always nice to get a cab back. People at the hotel were all very nice and friendly. I would recommened to anyone.
“Worth the Stay”
Exedra is a beautiful Hotel. Loved our room as it was well appointed. Outdoor access however our balcony was blocked. Definitely 5-star. Easy walk to the main Termini and 15 minute walk to main attractions. However, drinks, food and hotel services very expensive. My only complaint is that I did not have access to hotel iron. Had to pay 15 Euro to press one shirt.
“Fine place”
Excellent, luxurious hotel with good location and fine service. Nice, large rooms, well serviced. Food, etc., is costly; but there is a McDonald's within steps from the front door and other restaurants. Nice business center with free Wi-Fi and computers (as well as coffee and water). Only disappointment was swimming pool -- too small and too cold (in July) for lap swimming.
“Excellent 5 star in great location.”
We booked this hotel upon recommendations from friends. It is right in the Plaza de Republica. Great restaurants nearby and a McDonald right next door for the kids. Special fourth night free was a great incentive. The roof top pools was great to cool down in after those scorching days in the sun. Rooms were cleaned twice a day and for a European room the room size was palacial. Sixteen or 18 feet ceilings and roomy in this Deluxe or Superior style room. Would stay here again.
