I had some doubts about the hotel because it was not dead smack in the middle of Rome - but it turned out to be the best ever. First, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were very comfortable. Though the showers were a bit high (there was a good step down coming from the bathtub), the bathroom was huge, so big plus there. Matrimonial sized bed was a perfect size - I did not find myself struggling for space in the bed as I thought I would when I heard there were no queen/king sizes. There was an ironing board and iron on the first level, along with a 3-machine gym (treadmill, bike(?), and a bowflex-type all in 1 weight set. The hotel does offer breakfast and has a huge dining area with a bar though I did not use it. There are 3 cafeterias close by within a 2-minute walking distance. Also there is a bar (think of a Starbucks+small bakery) close by that is open very late and is always bustling with locals. The hotel itself is close to the Metropolitano (Metro - Subway) which if you do not have the luxury of calling a cab everytime you go out, you will find very useful in moving around Rome. A number of stores and banks are also very close within 5-minute walking distance.
