“Great Hotel- Great Staff”
We had two days in Rome following 10 days on a Luxury Cruise from Greece to Italy...47 was a great place to stay. All the staff was very helpful, friendly and everyone we dealt with spoke excellent English. The room was very clean and modern. The hotel accomodated us for lunch (though other restaraunts were closed between lunch and dinner between 3 and 8 PM). They served us a "box" breakfast on our early departure for the airport... It was actually someone else's breakfast, but the staff offered it to us, and repacked for the original people who were departing later than us. Rates were good, hotel was convenient to ancient Roman ruins... For people who are in good shape (weather permitting), the walk to most Tourist sites was easy (no more than 30 minutes). There are reviews indicating cost of drinks on the rooftop terrace were high. However, compared to everything else in Rome, the cost of drinks was not way out of line (Two glasses of Wine and two beers were 29 Euro).... We thought it was a perfect ending to our vacation...The view was great and very relaxing...
“Would go back again”
Clean, modern, elegant - excellent location and quiet. Staff very helpful - even managed to seat us for dinner on the rooftop one night when the reaturant was full - nice touch! Do have a drink or food up there - expensive but sunset is great! Concierge helpful and wireless a nice touch. Typical Italian breakfast spread is nice.
“Excellent”
We stayed there for five days during our honeymoon. The hotel condition was excellent. The staff was courteous and attentive. The breakfast buffet was good. The only downside is that the hotel is not really close to most of the tourist spots but it is close to Travestere which has many excellent dining options.
“Great hotel and location”
There are so many things we really enjoyed about this hotel. 1. The location is about 2 blocks from the Forum and an easy walk everywhere. It's not a highly touristy place which is great because you can avoid the crowds yet be close to everything. The bus is right outside and easy to navigate for 1 euro if you don't want to walk. There are so many wonderful restaurants close by. 2. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Lots of room to spread out for a week. 3. We had breakfast included which was excellent. Great coffee, scambled eggs and assortment of cheeses, breads and cereals. 4. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only complaint is that there is a daily charge for internet usage which was a bummer but who wants to spend time on the computer when you are in Rome.
“Exceeded expectations”
Forty Seven is a stylish hotel in Ancient Rome. The Forum, Colisseum and other sites are within easy walking distance. My husband and I walked to all the sites in Rome, including the Vatican. The breakfast is outstanding (the best we had during our three week trip). They include American-style bacon and eggs in the buffet which is nice. The hotel staff is incredibly helpful; the concierge went out of her way to book travel for us after we were unable to get to Paris by train. My only complaint - the bed was hard, but the view from our room more than made up for it. I highly recommend this hotel and I'm picky!
“very impressed”
Wonderful staff with a friendly atmostphere. Very close to all attractions and restuarants. Beautiful hotel has American style accomodation with a italian twist. Would definitely return.
“Excellent”
We booked a double deluxe room, which in comparison to other deluxe rooms i have stayed in was right at the top of the list! the staff couldnt be more helpful. The roof bar is the perfect place to finish off the evening relaxing on the comfortable sofa's with a nice bottle of wine. Would recomend this hotel to business and leisure travellers alike! The one downfall is the hotel is on a busy main road, noise isnt too much of an issue with windows closed however crossing the road puts your life in your hands! much the same as everywhere else in Rome.
“Fortyseven Hotel in Rome”
Fantastic stay at the FortySeven Hotel in Rome. Great rooftop bar, beautiful room, helpful staff, good breakfast buffet. Just a great overall experience. Oh, but the rooftop bar closes promptly at midnight and it would have been nice to have a late night drink.
“Very impressed, would recommend without hesitation.”
The hotel was very conveniently located to the Trastavere and all other tourist attractions. It was quiet and the staff were very friendly and exceptionally helpful and generous. The breakfast was great and the cappucino excellent! Would recommend to anyone who likes a quiet space amongst the bustle of Roma, where you can regroup in comfort before the next day's touring.
“Great Location”
The hotel has a great location near to the main atractions in Rome
