Very good value for money hotel very contemporary but it half hour drive from the center saying that it does have a reasonable bus route leading to the center

Great hotel!Posted May 31, 2014
Staff were very friendly and helpful. It is a shame that the hotel is located on a busy road and not in a more scenic location but you get what you pay for - the hotel was wonderful, and it was simple to get to Rome centre once we knew how (bus & metro)!

Nice clean hotel, far from central RomePosted May 12, 2014
Pros: The staff, the breakfast was excellent and included in the price, and the clean rooms made up for the bus and the train we had to take to central Rome
Cons: The hotel should seel bus and train tickets to go to Central Rome or have a shuttle that takes you to the train.
Location: The bus and the train were always accessible.
The hotel staff made up for the bus and train we had to take to go to central Rome. They were always friendly and ready to tell us how to get from one point to the other. The rooms were spacious and very clean.

Would I book into this hotel again?Posted Apr 27, 2014
G Hotel is in Pomezia (30 mins by car from the airport) and is in a business area. Convenient if you have a car as it is a 30 min ride to the next town. There is only one particular bus that goes to the nearest train station/town. G hotel is more for business people for meetings or conferences as there are no attractions, especially for children and is near a motorway. There is a limited amount of food on the dinner menu that you can order G Hotel. Nearest taxi is 30mins from the hotel, no mini cabs, and it cost us £60 euros to pick us up and take us to the nearest town called Florentina. From Florentina you can catch a train to Termini and another train to the main town for visits to the Colloseum, Vatican etc. We ended up booking into another hotel in Barberini for the rest of our holidays so we wouldn't have to waste time on travelling and money on taxis. Barberini is the place to be or any other towns nearby if you want to visit the main attractions. Many hotels to choose from. It did cost us 120 euros per night excluding VAT but it could be because we went around Easter time.

Clean and cozy. Friendly stuffPosted Mar 26, 2014
I liked it. The rom was cozy clean warm. Stuff very helpfull and spoke good english. A bit to far from Rome. Literally in middle of nowhere, on the highway. But there is a bus. So not to bad.

Shouldn't really be advertised as Rome.Posted Oct 23, 2013
Pros: The room was clean, the staff were helpful and the restaurant served nice food at reasonable prices.
Cons: Move it closer to Rome.
Location: There was a transport cafe next door, that's about it.
A nice hotel but an awful location, 28km outside Rome on the side of a dual carriage way. It's like booking a room in London and finding out the hotel is in Watford. .After paying for transfers we were told that we'd have to pay an extra 30 euros after we'd landed as the hotel was so far out of Rome, we'd were told that we'd only have to pay this once but then we were told we'd have to pay another 30 euros when the taxi driver came to pick us up.we really didn't have any choice. If we'd been told this when we booked that we were going to be stung for another 60 euros we'd probably have made different arrangements. Very poor practice Expedia which means we probably will not be using your service again.
2-star Motel -Posted Oct 6, 2012 on Hotels.com
I booked a 4 star hotel. Hotel G is only 2 star. The room where low standard (2 star tops). Furnished with the cheapest IKEA collection. There where were noisy. You could hear other people talking on the phone talking to each other as if the door to the room was open. The elevator was out of order. The breakfast was not a full breakfast (we had to ask to refill everything, even though there was a waitress doing nothing there). The TV couldn't change channel. To summit up this was a 2-star Inn-Motel. NOT a 4-star hotel. Would never recommend anyone to stay here.

G Hotel, PomeziaPosted May 8, 2011 on Hotels.com
Very accommodating staff. Bed was very hard. Pillows were harder. I would say that this is a 2 star property, rather than the reported 4 star
