“Nice hotel”

This hotel was very clean, very well maintained. The room was a bit cramped and oddly designed. Just a few oddities but I definitely recommend it compared to some other hotels we could have been stuck with.

“Good value”

Had a room with a single bed. Everything was clean and comfortable. Shower design gets the floor wet no matter what, but wasn't really a problem for me. Very good breakfast. Hotel restaurant is pretty pricey. A few good restaurant choices nearby, but not as many as the Termini Station area. The location is conveninent to the Roma Nord train, which takes you back to a metro stop. Would stay again.

“Great place to stay”

We were pleasantly suprised with this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The "European" breakfast buffet included was very good as well. We were located next door to the train station and the bus stop was right outside the hotel - these saved on the expense of taxi fares. Would stay there again!

“Good place to stay in Rome”

I got a double bed (xtra and a bit pricy). Room was small but quaint. Train was 100m from Hotel door. Breakfast was OK. Hotel staff were courteous and friendly.

They were overbooked for the first night. Rooms were OK but window insulation is bad - too much noise from outside. Large bathroom. Decent breakfast, but too less variety.

“Grand Ritz Hotel”

Stayed here from 5/2 to 5/8/06. Nice residential area, although a bit far from the core city. However, bus stop right in front. For one euro you can get downtown to the Termini and either transfer to another bus or walk to any of the major areas. Restaurant opens at 6:30am which is a plus for early risers. Nice breakfast spread provided. Single room was unbelievably small. Not enough room to fully open door to bedroom. Good news - the Metro (subway) runs very close to hotel - bad news - evidently right underneath because of the constant rumble - although mercifully it does not run all night long! Several neighborhood restaurants provide good and cheap eats. Staff very nice and accommodating.

“Service sub-par by American standards.”

The Hotel is probably 5-6 miles from downtown. Cab fare is around $15 Euro's. Bus 910 takes you to the Termini, which is near the grey line and green line tours and all the sites.

“Not impressed”

The employees on front desk were not kind. They were always engaged in the internal conversations. The clients them do not interest. In a bath to a room on a floor always there was a water. The water drain works poorly. In a room there was a suffocating smell. I have left from this hotel in another earlier for five days, than originally planned.
