“Promising but not guaranteed good ...”

They were overbooked for the first night. Rooms were OK but window insulation is bad - too much noise from outside. Large bathroom. Decent breakfast, but too less variety.

Area recommendations
The Vatican Museum - a lot of amazing things.
When to go
Spring is best - not too hot, not too cold.

“Nice hotel”

This hotel was very clean, very well maintained. The room was a bit cramped and oddly designed. Just a few oddities but I definitely recommend it compared to some other hotels we could have been stuck with.

“Good place to stay in Rome”

I got a double bed (xtra and a bit pricy). Room was small but quaint. Train was 100m from Hotel door. Breakfast was OK. Hotel staff were courteous and friendly.

Traveler's tip
I'd stay about four days and get out of Rome. There is just too much to see and do in Italy to say too long in Rome. See the small towns...possibly the REAL Italy. Cities are just sometimes cities, even when they are as exceptionally beautiful as Rome.
