“Nice New 4 Star Hotel. A little out of the way.”

Nice 4 star hotel. very nice and helpful staff. enjoyed the pool on the roof too. a little out of the way in the middle of a neighborhood, and 15 minutes bus ride to central rome, but was less money then centrally located hotels, so i would def stay there again.

“Very Impressed”

We were very happy and impressed with this hotel in Rome. The hotel is brand new, modern, sophisticated and pretty. The room was really clean and the beds were super comfortable. The bathroom was large with a great shower and a beautiful bathtub. On the day we arrived, we walked all over Rome and couldn't wait to rest and eat. Room service was delicious and not very expensive. This hotel was the only hotel we stayed in Italy that had free wi-fi and a few computers in the lobby. The hotel is far from everything, but we had no problem taking the bus everywhere. The bus stop is only 3 blocks away and I recommend you to get a day pass, so you can take buses and subways everywhere. I liked the area, it was very quite and a great place to rest after walking all around Rome. The frontdesk people were very polite and helpful.

“Nice hotel, bad location”

The hotel was very nice and clean. Breakfast is very expensive if it's not included in your booking. Also, the hotel is kind of out of the way. You will have to take a bus anywhere you go. We only saw their free shuttle once the entire time we were there and were informed on the first day that it usually didn't have any open seats. Other than the location, the hotel is a good choice.

“Better than expected for the price”

The Roma Citta is a bit out of the way (many locals didn't know where it was) but in a nice residential neaighborhood. We picked it based on price (Rome can be expensive) but the quality was better than the price would indicate. Restaurant and bar were excellent and there is a convenient shuttle (not free) to and from the historical city center. It's only a few blocks from a major shopping area and major bus routes.

“A well priced four star in a two-three star location”

Great hotel, clean, modern and well staffed. Outlier location could be a disadvantage for some. Breakfast is extremely expensive buffet that is nothing special. Suggest you skip it and go get a corneto and espresso locally.

“Great”

Pool and spa are open odd hours. Minibar and room service prices are quite reasonable. A little far from city centre but is a close bus stop. Overall very nice hotel!

“Great Hotel; TERRIBLE SERVICE”

The hotel was a pleasant surprise. The neighborhood is Trastevere which is nice if a bit far from the attractions, but taxis (cost of around $20) will get you to the center. It is new and very clean. A great deal for the price! However, be prepared for the TERRIBLE experience in dealing with the front desk. They are NASTY (even if we spoke fluently in Italian). Whenever we asked for information, they gave it in a sour mood. On top of it, the information was usually incorrect. For example, we asked for a nice restaurant and they sent us to a restaurant which was closed! Another evening we returned to the hotel and the taxi overcharged us. We asked the front desk to change the dollars or put it in the account ( as all hotels with a 4 Star category do) and they said no. In the end, we had to pay the taxi driver tripple the fare in dollars. Therefore, if you should decide to go, be wary of the front desk workers
