It serves it's purpose as being close to airport.Posted Jul 30, 2014
Pros: Hotel staff and Restaurant/Bar staff were wonderful to deal with.
Location: The location was close to De Vinci Airport in Rome and I spent more time back and forth to airport than I care to remember.
Our first stay was above average. Our 2nd-3rd was ok. We had to stay there do to Air Canada's canceling then overbooking our flights from Rome to Montreal. Buffet we had vouchers for was not pleasing at all and I had to spend my own money to eat. Room was average. But, I blame Air Canada more than hotel.

Close to airportPosted Jul 23, 2014
Location: Nothing to do anywhere nearby; the hotel and airport are pretty isolated.
The hotel was very clean and modern. Our problems related mostly to staff and lack of dining options anywhere near. We were given wi-fi connection information but were not told we needed different numbers for each device, so had to go back and wait at the desk to get what we needed. Also, understand that your only real option for dining is at the hotel; there are no restaurants in the area and it would cost about 30 euros each way to get far enough into Rome to have a good meal. The hotel food was not bad, especially breakfast.

Great hotel!Posted Jul 22, 2014
Don't get this Hilton confused with the multi-story connected by a ramp at the airport. The Garden Inn is at end of the line on the free shuttle bus from the Airport but completely worth the 10 min if took to get there. Both times I've stayed there, the front desk staff were very helpful, courteous and fluent in English. Rooms were spotless and they offered a breakfast buffet special for 10 euros which was worth it. Dinner was delicious and fairly priced in their in-house restaurant. As a woman traveling alone, I felt very safe there. I recommend it without hesitation. Now if I could just get the recipe for their delicious chocolate cookies they have for guests at the front desk......

Hotel near airportPosted Jul 21, 2014
This hotel is conveniently located on Rome airport property and can easily be reached from the airport via a free parking lot shuttle. The staff is very helpful. They answered a number of questions before our stay via email. They also provided helpful information about transportation between the hotel and locations in Vatican City and Rome. They helped with computer problems. The dinner we had there was once of the best we had in 12 days in Italy, something we did not expect at a hotel restaurant.

Nice hotel by Rome (Fuimicino) airport.Posted Jul 18, 2014
Pros: Near the airport. Clean, modern rooms.
Location: Near the airport. Nothing to do nearby.
The hotel is very close to the airport. There is regular shuttle service to the terminals. The buffet breakfast is substantial. Food offerings for the other meals are average and costly. The hotel is clean. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and spacious enough.

Nice hotel close to the airportPosted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable, quick check-out.
Cons: Include free breakfast. Explain clearly where the shuttle stop is located at the airport, and that it is not a hotel shuttle.
Location: Nothing to see or do within walking distance.
Finding the shuttle from the airport to the hotel was difficult and confusing. There are other hotel shuttles that stop at bus stops with the name of each hotel, but these are not where you're supposed to wait for this shuttle (they are, however, the stops where other shuttle bus drivers will direct you to go). What was not initially made clear was that this shuttle is not specific to the hotel; it's a free shuttle that has a number of stops in the vicinity of the airport, so it's technically not a hotel shuttle but an airport shuttle. It has a separate stop, which is much closer to the terminal than the hotel shuttle bus stops are. The hotel was nice, but the breakfast options were very expensive. If you are arriving hungry, keep in mind that you will be paying a lot for food (18 euros for a buffet breakfast, or 6 euros for a croissant). Better buy a sandwich at the airport before you get on the shuttle. A limited selection of junk food/snacks is available from a tiny store in the hotel lobby 24 hours a day. The other options are eating at the restaurant or ordering room service, which are both expensive.

Nice hotel close to FCO Rome airportPosted Jul 16, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable, close to airport and free shuttle service.
Cons: Quality of food in restaurant.
Very nice hotel to stay at if you are looking for a hotel close to the Rome airport. Shuttle service to and from airport a big plus. Food in restaurant was adequate, but not up to standard versus all the wonderful meals we had on our trip throughout Italy. Very clean and comfortable hotel.

Enjoyed the shuttle to and from the airport. It is confusing though as the Hotel references their shuttle service on their website, however it is an independent shuttle service so one does not know to take it from Airport to the Hotel when first arriving.
