“Nice Hotel near Rome Airport”

Hilton Hotel by airport in Rome was excellent. It was clean and staff was very helpful. A perfect transition back to the US after two weeks traveling in Italy. Hotel shuttle took us (and our bags) right to our terminal and we didn't have to deal with traffic to the airport on the morning of our return home.

Staying in this hotel eliminates stress especially when you have an early morning flight.

The hotel was clean and welcoming and the room service expensive but excellent. But I was not pleased to return home and find room service/food services had been charged twice to my credit card. A call to Hilton straightened it out in a few days, but this should never happen.

“Convenient and comfortable”

This is a great hotel to stay in, especially if you need to be close to the airport. We had an early morning flight, and it suited our needs perfectly. It was comfortable, and they were child friendly with our 19 month old. In fact, they gave her a balloon at check-in which she promptly popped to the shock of the entire lobby! We didn't try any food at the hotel, as we were there one night.

“Large Rooms”

Huge rooms with a "real" shower. Easy walk to the airport. Meals at the hotel were expensive however.

“Prior to a departure or at your arrival in Rome wow, great location”

This is a great Hotel because of its location and practical shuttle to rome every 2 hours, included in the room price... great Gym room with even a Bowlex and the indoor pool is very big for a hotel. Walking distnce to airport is also a great advantage point.

“Convenient”

This hotel is very convenient if you are flying into or out of the Rome airport. You can walk to both the airport terminal, and to the train station for direct service to Rome Termini station. Staff was polite and accommodating. Would definitely stay there again as our lay-over hotel before or after our next Italian vacation.

“Very nice hotel, but not located near downtown Rome”

Very nice hotel. More like an American hotel than a European hotel. But the 40 minute one-way complimentary bus ride to downtime Rome is only worth it for a day or two. If you plan to see Rome for more than that, I would recommend staying in a hotel located in downtown Rome instead. We were originally booked for a downtown Rome hotel but they didn't have our reservation when we arrived. So the Hilton Rome Airport was the only one with 7 nights availability on short notice. Be aware of scheduling conflicts with the complimentary bus to Rome. We booked a guided tour to Florence which only had a bus departing downtown Rome at 7:15AM. The Hilton complimentary bus doesn't start until 8AM. The airport train doesn't start until 6:35AM. So our trip to Florence cost an additional 60 euro for a taxi to downtown Rome to get to the tour bus.
