A good hotel to stay atPosted Oct 29, 2014
Pros: The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and we had an undisturbed stay. There were computers in reception with a printer.
Cons: The speed of the wifi.
Location: Located outside Rome Centre, with a massive department store next door. Restaurants and tram stop within 20 minutes walk.
A typical Holiday Inn Express Hotel outside Rome. A place to sleep and relax.

Decent hotelPosted Jul 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good value for money. Rooms were good, service was good. The location is far from the main attractions. You have to take a tram to the nearest railway station and then take a train to the attractions. So it is a good 45 minutes one way. The trans are extremely crowded. The walk to the tram station is another 15 minutes.

This hotel is located in the worse area of RomePosted Jul 18, 2014
Located in area surrounded by garbage dustbins and limited facilities like no room fridge and room service. No security and robber watched the incoming and outgoing family and target certain family to rob off the money by showing fake police ID.

Dear guest, my name is Barbara Front Office manager at Holiday Inn Express Rome-east. First of all I really do appreciate your feedback as the most important tool to improve ourself. I sincerely do apologize that you did not enjoy your stay in Rome. Concerning the mini bar, as Per Ihg standards, Holiday inn express can not provide mini bar or room service. Every Ihg Brand (holiday inn , holiday inn express, Indigo, Intercontinental ecc) provide different services, amenities and rates.. I invite you to visit Ihg official web site to discover our 11 Ihg hotel Brands and their different feautures. About security in the city, I am really sorry that you did not feel comfortable and that you have been robbed. In recent years, in every big city, unfortunately there has been a uptake in the crime rat. I wish I could improve police efficiency, but I can not. What we can do , is to give tips ad suggestions to our tourists . Spiteful people are everywhere. My property and the others in the city, try everyday to push security force and the organism that provide to collect garbage to increase resources . We will keep on doing our best. Once again , thanks for your feedback. I sincerely hope to see you again at Holiday Inn express, and I personally will do my best to make you feel comfortable. Thanks Barbara

Easy hotel if driving into RomePosted Jul 14, 2014
Great location, we took the taxi to Rome costing 18 euro one way. Had a supermarket and many around within easy walking distance. Great breakfast choices at the hotel as well! The beds were a little uncomfortable as an only downside.

Pros: Great price
Cons: English speaking staff in the evenings.
Location: Nothing to do nearby & very expensive to get into Rome by taxi from there.
Very far from the center of Rome and somewhat expensive to get to/from by taxi. Wouldn't recommend for vacationing in Rome.

Hotel was worked ok. We stopped in just for night between sorrento and bologna. Clean and fine breakfast with fre wifi. We ate dinner at hotel across the steet and there was a grocery store next door. Tour buses were main customers when we were there. Not sure if it would be good for site seeing in Rome because we didn't do that.

Good valuePosted Apr 27, 2014 on Hotels.com
Good value, clean, very big supermarket right next door for those who want to save a little money on food, quite a distance from the center, Wi-Fi was unbearably slow. All in all good.

Nice hotelPosted Apr 19, 2014
The staff was great and very helpful. The room was clean and cozy, they also have a shuttle that takes you to the metro. The only thing is that is a bit away from the city.
