Tranquil amidst the chaos

Posted May 18, 2015
Pros: Rooftop garden Location
Cons: New Carpet
Location: Close to Colosseum and Pantheon ....all of the city cites are in walking distance.
Just arrived home from 7 days in Rome. The location of this hotel was great. Easy walking to Pantheon and Campo di Fiori and Piazza Novona ....I especially liked the location {the old Jewish area} because it was quiet and offered some restaurants and shops, but very very few tourists. The narrow streets and hanging vines and flowers were beautiful. The hotel has a roof top garden which was so welcome after walking around "busy" room. The woman running the rooftop bar was very kind. She would bring little snacks and a plate of nicely prepared fruit to go with your drink. Relaxing. The staff at the desk were helpful and kind... also the breakfast staff were nice. At first when I arrived I thought the decor was a little "tired" but by the end of my stay I loved this hotel I will certainly stay there again.

Hôtel très accueillant et très bien placé

Posted May 8, 2015

Very pleasant staff. Quiet and clean room.

Posted Apr 30, 2015
Pros: Pleasant staff, clean room and good location.
Cons: Marshmallow pillows (but all hotels seem to also use the same type) too soft!
Location: Perfect location! Spanish steps, Patheon, Trevi Fountain all within walking distance.
Loved every minute, wonderful location. Recommend highly.

Traditional Comfort

Posted Apr 17, 2015
Pros: Location, cleanliness, breakfast, staff
Cons: Bathroom, open the roof terrace when the weather is as good as it was during our stay
Location: Within a five minute walk you have Largo Argentina, Gesu, Via del Corso, Piazza Venezia, or a 15 minute walk you have Campo di Fiore, Piazza Navona
I have stayed in this hotel before and returned due to the central location, safe entrance to return at night and good breakfast. I would still agree with those sentiments but for the first time I can honestly say that I had a good wi-fi connection in my room. I was also pleasantly surprised that the men on reception are now as pleasant as the women - it does make a difference. The bathroom was a little in need of refurbishment and on the first morning we were just after 10:00am going to breakfast and felt as if we were an inconvenience, breakfast is on until 10:30am. Other than that a very pleasant stay and I would happily return on future trips.

Good location but could do more on tourist info

Posted Apr 7, 2015
The hotel is well located very near some of the main points of interest and at a walking distance to the others. However, the pictures were deceiving. For instance, when we went (for Easter) the terrace area was not available and breakfast was in the basement. The hotel is located in a small side road and the view from the room was not very interesting. I asked about the shows/concerts for one of the evenings, the staff were helful but I was only given some superficial information and advised to look on the internet for details. The staff were approachable and helful though, for example they gave me a map, directions and some general information about the local area. However, they did not provide services to tourists such as specific information about local events and bookings. Nonetheless the room was very clean and well decorated, despite being small.

Perfect location

Posted Apr 2, 2015
Perfect location to see all the main sites. The hotel itself is nice, room cleaned every day. Wifi is a bit on and off but was out most of the day visiting the sites and used free wifi in other areas. Would stay there again based solely on the great location

Pros: Takterassen var ett plus
Location: Nära de flesta sevärdheter
Vi var nöjda med hotellet, mysiga restauranger i kvarteren bakom. Jättebra läge om man skall gå runt i Rom
