Comfortable hotel in an old part of Rome.

Posted Sep 16, 2014
Cons: Tea & coffee making facilities in the rooms. Wi-fi.
Location: Within walking distance of the Colosseum and the Forum. A number of very good local restaurants close by.
Have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and it offers good value for money.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION

Pros: Location Rooftop patio
Cons: WiFi on rooftop patio so one could share pictures at end of day. I
This hotel is located within walking distance to all major tourist attractions in Rome. Stores, restaurants and grocery store are all close, 10 minute walk to Coliseum, 10 minutes to Pantheon, 15-20 minutes to Vatican. As I said, location, location, location. Hotel has 4 floors (that would be 5 in North America - 0 to 4) and the best part, a roof top patio/garden which serves drinks from 5:30 till 11:30 to hotel guests only. (NO food, just drinks - bring your own sandwiches). All rooms are air-conditioned and have a safe. WiFi is available in the lobby of the hotel only - no big deal, it's about time you get off that internet. Breakfast is available from 7:00 till 10:30 a.m. and is included.

We were able to walk to many of the attractions from this hotel. Staff was friendly. Bathrooms were very clean. Beds were a little too hard. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location, perfects base for a Rome trip

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: Rooftop bar Central location
Cons: Breakfast WIFI
Location: Everything Rome has to offer is nearby
Stayed here for 4 nights on a city break to Rome for the first time. The location is excellent, located on a quiet street just off a main road within walking distance of most of the central sites in Rome which makes it an excellent base to explore Rome from. The rooms were small but by no means too small, the breakfast was adequate with enough selection to keep us happy, the staff were welcoming and helped us out when we first arrived (they speak good English) but didn't require much from them after that, the rooftop bar was the real gem of the hotel (open all evening with a fantastic terrace and very reasonably priced). The WIFI is an issue as you don't get WIFI in your room, but the signal is fine from reception if you need to use it casually. A 4* hotel that may not get you really excited and think it was a real find in Rome, but ticks most of the boxes and is a good and safe choice in Rome.

No wifi in the room as advertised. Got a small room with a miniscule window. Passed by other open rooms that looked a lot more spacious and of normal standard for this price level.

Torontonian in Rome

The location of this hotel is excellent, close to everything by walking, no need to take public transportation for sightseeing. It's a boutique place, room is very small, no internet in the room , only wifi in the lobby , a bit of pain to use. For vacation, it's a fine place, would use again.
