Location: Vaticano, centro historico

Everything is okPosted Jul 26, 2015
Hotel is close to the Vatican and has a mini mart next door and plenty of places to eat. Wifi worked well on the upper deck but no where else. The room is good with a large bathroom and a nice balcony. 10 Euros for air con is a bit steep per night. The rooms were reasonably clean however there was a used razor in our bathroom from the day we arrived until the day we left, so could be more thorough.

“Basic but great location and great value for monePosted Jul 26, 2015
The entrance to the Adriatic is through a side doorway in the street. Once inside there is a lift facing you and a flight of stairs. Go up one set of stairs and the door on the right leads to the hotel reception. The guys on reception are very helpful with maps, bus routes etc. There are no safes in the rooms only one in reception. The hotel has no facilities as such, but we had a lovely clean room with plenty of storage and a massive double bed plus a single. The room faced the busy road but the heavy blind cut out the traffic noise. The bathroom had a shower and bidet and towels and bedding were changed frequently. Air conditioning is available at a charge of 10 euros per night. There is also a 3 euro per person, per night City Tax. The hotel does not serve food or have a bar, but you can bring food and drinks from outside to the Solarium ( roof garden) on floor 4. The convenience store two doors away is very reasonable for beer and wine. You can also access the hotel's free Wi-Fi here. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk from St Peter's Square and the Vatican, and 300m from bus and tram stops. There are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants for breakfast and dinner in the side streets close to the hotel. It is advisable to buy tickets for Colosseum and Vatican tours online beforehand. You still have to queue but for a much shorter time. The 81 bus, which runs about every 10 minutes, takes you straight to the Colosseum and costs 1½ euros each for 100 minutes travel.

Fint hotel, men dårlig wifiPosted Jul 19, 2015

Excellent locationPosted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Location, excellent staff. There is a street of wonderful outdoor restuarants just a block or 2 away. Bed was very hard, which I prefer ( bad back)
Cons: Working A/C.
Location: Walk to St Peters, Castel St Angelo. Metro is a 10 min walk away. Many good dining choices in the area.
The location is excellent, close to transit and in walking distance to many great sites. It was clean and had a nice washroom. The staff very very friendly and helpful, great to deal with. Only downside was the room was stuffy & hot, opening windows let in bugs. There was an A/C unit in the room but it didn't seem to be functional. I would stay there again but plan my trip outside of the super hot summer months.

Comfortable, clean, basic hotel near Vatican CityPosted Jun 21, 2015
Pros: The terrace on the 4th floor is a nice outdoor space - good for relaxing and a nice alternative eating space if you bring in your own food.
Cons: Wifi that works in the rooms would be nice. Also, a simple continental breakfast on the terrace would be convenient.
Location: Good location near Vatican. Also, very close to a charming street with lots of outdoor restaurants and shops: Borgo Pio. Nice to explore.
The hotel was easy to find midway between St. Peter's and Castel S. Angelo. Staff was friendly and helpful: stored our luggage until check-in since we arrived early. They also helped us to ensure the air conditioning was turned on. Although the hotel is on a fairly busy street (there's a bus stop near the hotel entrance which is convenient) and our room faced the front, we were pleasantly surprised how well the windows blocked out the noise. The blackout curtains were great, too, ensuring good sleep. The bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was nice and clean. The shower is a bit narrow, which could be challenging for larger-sized guests. Wifi only works on the terrace on the 4th floor - not in the rooms. No continental breakfast, but eateries are close by.

Functional...Posted Jun 19, 2015
Location: Location great..lots to do and see
Being so close to the Vatican is handy and very close to the a castle which is great. It is also within walking distance of Piazza Navone and the Pantheon. However the WiFi wouldn't work even on the roof and our air on wouldn't work...we had to leave the window open at night. The noise off the street below was unbelievable. . Wine and earplugs made sure we slept but with difficulty. The staff were really helpfull and apologized many times for the lack of air con. The rooms were cleaned everyday and we did get fresh bed linen and towels.
