Convenient location for The VaticanPosted Feb 25, 2014
Pros: The location is great, without a high price. There is no restaurant on sight but there are several within 5 minutes walk.
Cons: WiFi in rooms
Location: Restaurants in Borgo Pio, 5 minutes walk. We ate at I Tre Pupazzi, but we could have picked any of 5 or 6 choices.
Roughly 500m from the Vatican - a 10 minute walk. Also has some great restaurants tucked behind in Borgo Pio. Hotel facilities are limited - no tea/coffee in rooms (the reception has a coffee machine) and patchy wifi. But for a convenient place to stay it's ideal. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Pros: Location ideal. Staff friendly and available 24hrs,
Location: stone's throw from Vatican and Castel d'Andelo .... then just across bridge or nearby Metro for all other attractions
Hotel was ideal to allow us to explore this beautiful city. Basic, but staff friendly and happy to help.

Good price, great locationPosted Oct 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Clean room. Friendly staff. Shower small and leaks into floor but overall great place. WiFi lounge outside on upstair patio area, nice touch. If going to Rome for more than a day, would definitely stay here again

Wonderful people you'll enjoy your stay!Posted Oct 24, 2013
Pros: The rooftop solarium, the staff, the location access to historic Rome, Vatican gardens. shopping, restaurants, cafes
Cons: The rooms themselves are slightly outdated; bathroom nice however
Location: Easy access to historic Rome, downtown shopping, great restaurants, relaxing cafes / GREAT location
The staff was incredibly hospitable and went overboard to ensure I was pleased with my experience. I chose this hotel based on a friend's recommendation because of its' ease of location to major historical sites in old Roma! I thought the location was terrific and easy to access many sites, shopping, great restaurants, cafes, and the Metro. The car was on time to pick me up for airport transport. The rooftop solarium was great with wifi access and a relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend particularly because the price was quite affordable. Truly a great value and I'll go back.

Basic hotel by vaticanPosted Oct 2, 2013
Very basic room, no safe as stated and you have to pay extra for air con in room! Had to move rooms 3 times in 5 nights as trouble with water in building! Would not recommend!

Good hotel, well situated to Rome's highlightsPosted Sep 15, 2013
Pros: Value for money given location; clean room and bathroom with bidet.
Location: Vatican, Pantheon; castle Sant Angelo; river Tiber;
The room was clean, spacious and well ventilated with large opening windows. Air conditions is available for an extra ten euros per day but was not needed during our stay. Street noise at night may be a problem for some but for me was acceptable. Parking was available at a nearby garage for twenty Euros per 24 hours. The Vatican and Castle Saint Angel are each within 5 minutes walk. The Pantheon is within 30 minutes (probably less) away and the colosseum and forum etc. are easily reached by bus or on foot. At €90 per night it is good value, but you will need to eat out at one of the many trattorias or pizzerias in the immediate locality. Also several minimarts close by and a laundromat is about ten minutes away on foot.

Close to the VaticanPosted Jun 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
Close to the Vatican and a short walk to local buses and Metro that get you everywhere. Clean comfortable rooms with a nice solarium to sit in. However the desk service can be impatient and make sure you bring cash to pay for your city tax and air conditioning! They won't accept credit cards for incidentals.
