You'll enjoy your stay, but a little travel hassle

Posted Jan 5, 2011
Nice hotel, mediocre location. Out of 4-5 reception desk, one was very rude and not friendly. Heater/Airconditioner in room maybe too hot so we had to open the window when we sleep. Toilet was very clean and above expected. Overall a cosy hotel to stay after a long trip into the city center.

Would return

The personnel at reception were extremely kind and helpful. We arrived earlier than expected and they went out of their way to accommodate us asap.

This hotel was very clean and staff were very friendly, which I found refreshing, compare to the previous hotel we stayed. The hotel was not conveniently located. The only way to get to the center of Rome was to take a cab or a tour bus.Once you left the hotel, the only way to return back is by cab.The area where the metro stops to get back to the hotel, is residential area. Finding a cab back to the hotel was a challenge. The money you save stay at this hotel is not worth it because at the end you'll be spending your money on transportation.

Nice hotel with a great breakfast buffet

Posted Jul 1, 2009
This was a very clean hotel with great service. It is located on a bus route so easy access to the Metro if you don't mind a 15-20 minute bus ride. The best part was the breakfast buffet. I'd definately stay at this hotel again when I return to Rome.

Great room for the money

Hotel is conveneintly located near DaVinci Airport. It is not however near any of the important or historical sites. You need to rent a car or take a taxi. Hotel does have shuttle service and is very helpful in assisting you with your destination. Everyone speaks english. Hotel is priced right and is clean

Very satisfied

The hotel staff were very, very helpful - when we arrivied we spent ten minutes in reception while the person at the desk told us all the best ways to get to the centre of Rome, best places to visit and also best places to eat. The room was very clean and couldnt fault it.

The hotel is located in deserted kind of place.

The TV was not working. The taxi arranged by the hotel for catching a 5am flight demanded 200% more than usual rates. Did not accept US dollars for the taxi readily.

Great Hotel

Hotel is close (30 minutes) from Rome airport and close to Vatican and metro. No restaurant yet because final construction was still being completed but a good-sized breakfast room with a complete complimentary breakfast with lots of choices of hot and cold food and beverages. Transportation to and from a local restaurant for a fantastic dinner at a very reasonable price. Best to access by metro rather than train because no taxi service from train station to hotel.

No Frills, Clean, It Works!

Posted Aug 13, 2008
We were looking for a hotel for one night that would be close to Rome's FCO airport (we were transiting through Rome), and that wasn't too fancy but clean and comfortable. This hotel amply met the bill! It is right off of Rome's Ring Road (GRA), fairly close to where the highway from the airport meets it. The flip side: it is not easily accessible by public transport. (We had a car.) But otherwise, it is a fine place.

Needs improvement

Posted May 29, 2008 on Hotels.com
K-size bed needs new mattress and towels need to be terry cloth not smooth cotton as in a kitchen dish towel. Check-in clerk tried to hussle us on a transfer to hotel that was much more expensive than taxi service. Restaurant not on premises as indicated on inter-net. However, the hotel highly recomended one and it's driver took us to his restaurant about 10 minutes away. It was 5-star fantastic.
