“Horrible”
The rooms were very small the bed took up just about the whole room leaving a 1 foot walk way to the bathroom. The bed was listed as a queen size bed, it was actually 1 full size bed with a cott next to it with a queen size sheet over ith bed so hopefully no one will notice. The beds were not even the same size one was higher than the other making it very uncofortable to sleep in. This hotel was listed as a four star it should be a one star. The elevators are very small as well only fit 2-3 people at a time.
“Room 201 !!!”
The hotel is terrible, I have stayed for one week in room 201 it is a big trick ,very tiny and Air condition is not working at all.Breakfast is boring small quantities.Sure I will not come back even it is free.I stayed from 8-14 July 2011.
“"Not Impressed"”
This is not a four star hotel, maybe one. Very small room, barely enough room to put your luggage. The bed was very small and hard, walls could use a fresh coat of paint. There was a very old and small t.v. there was also no gym or pool....how can this be classified as a four star hotel? The service in the hotel was not very good and not close to the metro.

“It is okay I may would go back,if you are looking for top quality this is not the place”
The Hotel was okay staff was friendly & somewhat helpful. Not a 4 star hotel I would rate it as a 3 star at best. I had to advise the staff I wanted my sheets changed each day. Room was small but to be expected for a European travel. On my 2nd night I noticed a bug in my room, I called the front desk they immediately took care of the situation by moving me to another room. The shower stalls are a little small, but I managed. Breakfast was okay, hotel restaurant could have been a little cleaner. I liked the fact that the metro station was across the street from the hotel & there was also a bus stop in front of the hotel. Even though it may not have been convenient to downtown area, it was convenient to get there. There were also some quaint & inexpensive restaurant & cafe's in the area. The only time I ate at the hotel was breakfast if I woke up early enough to get served.
“Far from the historic center”
The hotel is good if you have business to do in the EUR zone of Rome. Even if it is just in front of the Subway, it takes 30-40 minutes to reach the historic center. On the other hand, the advertised free parking is only for 20 cars and cannot be reserved. I was not able to use it during my whole stay. On the plus side, the room was ok and they had a fast and free internet connection.
“Not fair”
My mother and I arrived late evening and the room assigned to us instead of double it was a single room where they just put two beds, so it was extremely tiny and uncomfortable. A/C was on from 5 to 10pm, i found about it the next day when asked. It was just because I complained about the room, that the next day we got a double room, and I did not get from them any compensation for the first night spent in single room despite i was insisting during my whole stay there (five nights). Breakfast buffet was good and location too, even though train station was two blocks from hotel. No attractions nearby at all, so you have to take train to downtown or anywhere else.
“Not Impressed”
Room- extremely small, barely any room to walk around, the supposed "king" size bed was made up of 1 full & 1 twin bed. Cleanliness was not the best, noticed that the toiliet was not properly cleaned but everything else seemed to be fine. Food- Free Breakfast was suitable even though it was the same food everyday. Service - front desk was a bit rude, but was helpful when asked for the nearest grocery store and metro station.
“Renovations Needed”
The photos of this hotel must have been taken when it first opened (which must have been at least 10 years ago). While the location is perfect (across the street from the subway, around the corner from a gelato shop and bank, and down the street from a great pizza shop and grocery store), the fundamental aspects of the hotel are poor. The shower in my room had mold and the mattress had bed bugs.
“hotel american palace”
hotel was very nice. Staff was helpful and pleasant. further away from Rome then implied. Subway ride is about 20 minutes and stops running by 11:30pm

Area:
EUR, Rome, Italy: A couple of miles south of the city centre, EUR takes its name from Esposizione Universale di Roma, built for an exhibition in 1942. The bombastic architecture was then intended to glorify Fascism, but now is home to shops, cinemas and clubs and exhibitions. Within the marble halls there are also three very good museums, including the fascinating Museum of Roman Civilization.
