Few days of work
Big hotel, clearly top quality when it was built, and pleasant stay but perhaps starting to show its age. Breakfast is for me a bit basic (and problematic for me as lots of overnight tourists eating first thing). But will probably try and stay there onmy next trip.

I was dissatisfied with the state of the property, room, and bathroom. I cannot recommend this property to anyone else, both now and in the future. I felt uneasy while staying in the room and sleeping on the beds.

Front desk Staff rude and not professional , ( just one person in particular “ Ivana “ ), breakfast people was fine . ( don’t expect education from Italian people , they just don’t know what is this !! ) Anyways the hotel was dirty and dusty , room was old and the hotel needs an upgrade badly , the area was fine with a lot of shopping and dining options around , very good price by the way on food around . 35 minutes from Rome , not bad . Breakfast was OK . Plenty parking . And no , I wouldn’t stay again .

Overall this stay was pleasant. I will say that I am still trying to get the hold removed from my credit card as they put a temp hold to cover extra's, which is fine as most hotels do that. My problem started when I checked out and they tried to charge me for the whole stay (had already paid for the hotel room through Orbitz as part of a package deal). They then insisted I pay the $296.50 for the restaurant and local taxes instead of taking it out of the $500 hold they had already put on my card. Not very helpful. We used the shuttle back and forth to the train station for three days and I will say the driving was less than desirable and instead of picking us up at the time we gave them, we found ourselves waiting an hour everyday to be picked up, so I would not recommend using the shuttle. The staff however was very nice and attentive and the rooms were clean. Next time however I will be staying in downtown rome as the distance made travel time consuming.

Nice stopover on the way to/from Rome
Hotel is conveniently placed very close to the highway exit in Fabro, a perfect spot in case you need a stopover. Room spacious, excellent breakfast, price in line with class of hotel.

Not for Americans who want to see Rome
There is nothing wrong with the SHG Hotel Antonella itself. But if you are an American who wants to see Rome this is not the place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms up to standards and the restaurant food was fine. But the hotel is a long way from Rome in an industrial area - there aren't even any sidewalks to take a walk. Getting to Rome involves a hotel shuttle, a train, and then another train or bus - 90 minutes each way or more. If you are an American tourist wanting to see Rome, this is not the place stay - book a centrally located hotel in the city.

pretty clean room w daily linen and toiletry provided. No Air condition but a fan is available. 30 minutes from the Airport. Can get uber from airport but not the other way since this is in a village but a taxi can be arranged for. Amsterdam sight seeing places are another 30 minutes from the airport so its an hr journey daily each way.

You need your own transport
A bit too far from anywhere. Far from airport and Rome itself. Also from train station but we did get free shuttle each morning to the station. Breakfast was great. Staff helpful

Faked four stars hotel
The hotel locates along a main road which easily leads you to Rome outlets and airport. But the hotel facilities are old and dingy. There are many shabby sofas in the corridor of the rooms. The hotel is faked four stars.

Well it was ok, but there were some annoying issues for me e.g. Shower did not work well, Mini bar poorly stocked and did not work so drinks were warm, air-con did not work and not a great menu for evening dinner. Breakfast on the contrary was excellent as was the service.

Hotel Antonella
The hotel was nice and clean. Some of the staff was helpful. I was disappointed with the location of the hotel. In the preview it claimed to be located within 15 miles from the airport, which was not so. In the hotel's advertisement, it stated complimentary shuttle service was provided by the hotel. My family and I had to spend extra cash to get from the airport to the hotel and again from the hotel to the airport because there was no shuttle services provided by the hotel.

Nice hotel near Fiumicino
Beautiful hotel 20 km from Fiumicino airport. We were given a suite, with a whirlpool. The hotel is great! Would absolutely stay there again on our next trip!

There must be better hotels in the area...
First, they didn't have the reservation correct at check in which only made the woman at the desk angry at us! The hotel is fairly primitive in that they take bookings electronically but then convert everything to a paper system which obviously is prone to errors. The hotel is still using a dot matrix printer to print out your bill!! I thought those were all in land fills. Not a very good experience. Look elsewhere.

THIS PLACE HAS GOOD PARKING AND GOOD LOCATION . THE ROOMS ARE NOT CLEAN AND DIRTY it is dimly lit and does not give you the comfort of cleanliness , it is dingy the lift buttons plate has so many finger prints on it that you hate to touch it to click your floor the breakfast was of very low quality and not well presented this is not a four stars hotel , it should be reviewed as two star guest house .

OK, but not blown away.
We chose Hotel Antonella based on other reviews and its proximity to Fiumicino Airport as we were flying back home the next day. It took about 35-40 minutes to reach the airport with no traffic. It’s a nice hotel with a large, luxurious lobby. The room was fine, although we found the bed a little small compared to other double beds at other hotels. We had a large modern bathroom which was nice. Breakfast was subpar as the scrambled eggs had a very strange taste (didn’t seem like they were made with real eggs,) and they served hotdogs as sausage which was bizarre and very disappointing as Italian sausages would have been a far better choice. The rest of the breakfast was fine with the usual breakfast cereals and Italian sweets. The service throughout our stay was very good from the reception at check-in to the servers at breakfast. The hotel grounds were very nice to walk around and parking was free. The hotel is in an industrial area so there's not much to see or do in the vicinity.

After over a decade of using hotels.com, I had 2 disappointments in a row. I searched for hotel near FCO with airport transfers. The "special" at the top was this hotel. Turned out to be an $80 taxi ride from train, $110 back to airport. Not even in Rome. Front desk said ad was misrepresentation, they never had transfers. Hotel has nothing around it. Odd menu. Room was nice though.

Perfect for Pomezia
Stayed at this hotel for a two day businesses trip in Pomezia. Only 20 minutes from the airport and just off the main road. The trees and bushes hide the fact that you're in quite an industrial area. The staff were great, very attentive at mealtime. The room was comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was a good size and very clean.

This is an exceptional hotel that lives up to its advertising and the restaurant was superb for all 3 meals. The only drawback is the location. Without a car you are not able to easily walk to other venues.

Very difficult to find, but once you get there...
Driving in towns in Italy is stressful in any event, but after 16 hours travel time, stressful. We decided to stay in Pomezia as it was reasonably close to the airport in Rome, but not in Rome. The drive to Pomezia was uneventful, but once we got to the town we had a terrible time finding the hotel. However, after we found the hotel, we were quite pleased - it is clean, modern, quiet and comfortable. We had a light dinner in the hotel restaurant, which was very good as was breakfast the next morning.

Not a Good Choice for a Young Family
We chose this hotel because it was convenient to the airport and we were leaving the following day. When we arrived they had changed us to a room with one king bed and a single bed, instead of two doubles and charged us extra for the small bed. I asked to see the room with two doubles and the beds were smaller than what a double is by North American standards so we grudgingly chose the king room. The hotel staff was very nice and the breakfast was lovely and the waitresses doted on the kids. The only dark spot there was an extremeley rude bartender who opened my wine for me and handed me collins glasses. If we had chosen this hotel for more than one day we would have been far more disappointed because it really isn't a child friendly hotel. Perfect for business or solo traveler and perfect for access to the airport but I wouldn't have wanted more than the one night there.

Great clean hotel - superb staff
This was a very nice hotel - the rooms were extremely clean and the staff were all very polite. Having a car is essential though - it is near the main road (although when you are in the hotel you do not notice) so is easy to drive north 15 minutes to get to Rome. We drove to an outer subway station and got the metro into Rome city centre. The only negative I would say is that the Expedia listing boasts of 4 restaurants when infact there is just 1 along with a bar.
