“was a bit far...but a great hotel”

hotel was nice...it was just on the outskirts of rome....but an easy trip into the heart of rome via bus and metro system. I enjoyed the stay and the staff was terrific!

“Honeymoon in Rome”

This hotel, though a 30 minute train / bus ride from downtown Rome, was a pleasure to stay at. The hotel staff were quite friendly, helpful, and attentive to our requests. Upon arrival, our bus dropped us at the wrong stop in the rain, and the hotel manager personally came to pick us up. Once we learned the bus / train schedule, we had no problems. The room was as expected, not overly large, but not too small. There's not much in the way of restaurants nearby, but the bus stop is around the corner and there are many eateries along the path. Overall, highly recommended. The Line A train stops at 9pm, and the bus schedule stops at 1230, so if you get stuck in Rome late, you'll have to take a taxi to the hotel, which will cost you at least 60-70 Euros, about 80-90 US.

“A little too far”

The hotel was very nice. It was connected to a supermarket so buying things was not an issue, however, it was a little too far outside the city and this made for some frustrating commutes especially at night when only night busses run. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I would defiantly recommend this hotel to someone who was staying with a car or who was planning on not being out late at night in the city

“When it's hot, the air conditioner may not be enough!”

Charming little place--but our stay in late August was marred by the inadequate air conditioner. The room was oppressively uncomfortable. I'd go back--but not in high summer time!

“Rome's Friendliest”

The Arcadia is a jewell hid away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Rome. Traffic is chaotic in Rome, but this hotel is outside of town enough to glean some privacy. Only a short ride from the Anagnina Metro, you can go to Rome in a matter of minutes, yet when you return to the hotel you can see the stars! We loved the Italians, Rome, and the Arcadia Hotel.
