Right in the centre but quiet.

Our stay was an 80th birthday gift to my husband from my sons. From the moment we arrived we were treated as special. We were helped and guided to make the most of our stay in this lovely city. The breakfast was superb and we felt totally spoilt. Nothing seemed too much trouble, they even looked after our cases after checkout until our taxi arrived late afternoon.

Italy personified!

Posted Sep 10, 2014
Pros: Staff was wonderful--true professionals at their work. Helpful to the max. The breakfast (included with our stay) was incredible and varied.
Cons: They didn't carry my favorite rum but this minor problem was easily fixed--I drank Prosecco!
Location: Beautiful, old Italy side street near the Spanish Steps and shopping. PERFECT location.
My first trip to Rome! Wanted the feel of Rome and I got it. Hotel Art is the perfect blend of old Italy and modern chic Italian. Nestled on a narrow charming side street near the Spanish Steps, it is a renovated old building with modern flair. Clean and well-tended. Small rooms, but who cares? Public areas were great for relaxation when in the hotel, only slept in the room (which was clean, well-lit and met every need). If I ever go back to Roma, I will stay there again.

Perfect

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Excellent overall. Close to spagna metro station and Spanish steps. In a quiet safe street. Staff were helpful for booking tours etc as well as printing documents such as boarding passes for us. Also as well as the rooms being cleaned daily, they also come in the afternoon to place out slippers by the bed and change towels, so cleaning twice a day, a nice touch. The rooms are well appointed with quality linen, and good soaps etc. Also very clean. The included breakfast was good. Highly recommended.

The hotel is fun and very well placed in the city. They are a few minutes walk to Piazza di Popolo and Piazza Spagnolo. The staff are excellent and very helpful for any requests we had or anything we needed. I would recommend to anyone.

Very nice hotel in a great location

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Location: It's very close to the Borghese Gardens, the Spanish Steps. There are great restaurants nearby and it's also very close to a metro stop.
The staff is excellent, the rooms were very nice and clean. It's half a block from the spanish steps, so you're in a great location but it's still very quiet.

A City Break in Rome

Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Located in a quiet location a few minutes walk from the hustle and bustle of the Spanish Steps. Superb d├ęcor, staff and breakfast.
Cons: No comment
Location: Rome is self explanatory.
An enjoyable week but very hot and very crowded everywhere but managed to see all we wanted to see. Purchased Omnia Vatican and Rome Pack from Opera Romana Pellegrinaggi (OPR) on line before travelling which provided for 3 consecutive days hop on/off bus and public transport tickets and skip the line access to major attractions - well worth the expense.

Spanish Steps

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Pros: Room was clean and had AC on a hot day. Conveniently located to metro and the main tourist areas. Bed was comfortable.
Cons: No coffee maker or clock. No hot breakfast choices. Could hear noise in hall and from other rooms. Towel rack to high to reach towels.
Location: Close to Spagna metro and Spanish steps, 20 minute walk to Vatican and Colosseum areas. Shopping very close.
Wanted to stay by the Spanish Steps. This hotel was recommended by a friend so we chose it to stay at. Hotel is in a quiet section of town. Hotel was nice to stay at. Let down by the breakfast but the lunch at hotel was amazing!

Very smart city centre hotel.

Pros: Location. Staff. Breakfast.
Cons: Put it up on stilts for a better view!!
Location: Great location for all the main Rome attractions, we like walking any distance so got to Vatican, Trevi fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona easily.
Quite a contrast to step into a very modern, clean hotel from cobbled backstreet of Rome. Almost futuristic lobby and communal areas. Lots of interesting features, furniture, fittings, artwork. Pleasant, polite, knowledgable staff, always around but never overpowering. Very generous breakfast buffet. We stayed for our 35th anniversary and a birthday as part of a trip around Italy. Good value hotel in a very expensive part of the city.
