“Great Boutique Hotel”
Hotel staff were great - very helpful. The included breakfast buffet was very good -- also provided egg dishes from menu. Convenient location, around corner from Via Venetto.
“Nice boutique hotel”
My daughter and I viewed our stay at the Hotel Barocco as the highlight of our visit to Rome! The staff was very friendly and helpful and we felt right at home. The hotel breakfast is one of the best we've had as it even included eggs cooked to order ... and the bar area was a fun, cozy place to hang out before or after dinner. The location is very good ... within easy walking distance of Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps and the hop-on, hop-off bus stopped right nearby. The staff was very helpful in giving us directions and making dinner reservations. There were several good restaurants within a few blocks and the area seemed safe to walk in at night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone planning a visit to Rome!
“Good service”
We reserved a room that smelled pretty bad because of some cleaning that was recently done. We were turned off and requested a new room. Hotel manager was very nice to upgrade us to a better room and from that point onwards, our stay was very comfortable. Hotel is located in Piaza Barberini and is offers very convenient access to Metro and bus stops. Hotel receptionists were very friendly and very accommodating. Breakfast is nice too.
“Great location”
As other fellow travelers mention, the hotel is very well located, with easy access to metro and most of the main tourist attractions in Rome. Our hotel room was small, but very well appointed and the bathroom was very spacious. Breakfast was also very good and according to my girlfriend, the coffee was the best she had on our whole trip. The staff at the front desk was very attentive and helpful.
“A Hidden Gem in Piazza Barberini”
Beautiful hotel in an ideal location, with extremely attentive staff. The hotel is in a fantastic location on Piazza Barberini with easy access to the Metro and taxiis. Very close walking distance to Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Outstanding service from the hotel staff who were extremely attentive at all times.
“Highly Recommend Hotel Barocco”
Hotel Barocco was perfect from the location (minutes from business & sightseeing attractions), to the clean & well-maintained rooms, to the wonderful breakfast & excellent service from every staff member I encountered. Would stay there again in a minute & would recommend it to family & friends.
“3 Star”
This claims to be a 4 star but it really is more like a 3 star hotel. Some of the front desk people were not professional (personal phone calls while we were waiting to obtain information). Some of the front desk staff acted superior to some of the patrons. The dining room staff were all professional and polite.
“Hotel Barocco”
Good location; however, entrance was on a side street. Taxi drops you off in the square and you walk to entrance with your luggage. Very nice staff at the desk. Helpful in making reservations for excursions and galleries. Very good complimentary breakfast; yet dining area was small. My room did not have shutters on the windows and you could see through the filmy curtains at night. Also, no light above the sink in the bathroom. Construction being done at 8:00 am in the hallway. Otherwise, comfortable bed, lovely decor, safe in room, good hair dryer, roomy shower and very nice porter handling the luggage!
“Great hotel”
Second stay here. Will return again. Great hotel.
“Great stay! New renovation!”
Rome was the final stop on our 2 week trip and it was so comforting to get here. The room was very nice and VERY comfortable. Everything looked newly renovated, the bathroom is completely updated, and the bed was new memory foam. The staff is extremely helpful. In the circle out front there is a tour bus stop (on the other side) which is very convenient. There is also free wireless internet!

Spanish Steps - Trevi Fountain, Rome, Italy: Romes largest, most spectacular fountain, the Trevi Fountain is a baroque extravaganza, its ancient sea gods and gushing water dominating a tiny piazza.
