We stayed 4 nights at Camelia hotel and found it very convenient. It was walking distance to the bus station, several pizzerias and a supermarket were close by, breakfast was good, and it was easy to catch buses to and from the center of the city. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotelPosted Jul 19, 2014
Very well situated in Rome. Gave us another room in a different hotel free of charge (around 50m down the road) due to the airconditioning in our original hotel not working. Both rooms were great. Breakfast was also good!

Nice hotel close to TerminiPosted Jul 3, 2014
Small but well kept hotel. Check-in was smooth. The rooms while a little small for 3 people were clean and the comfortable. Best part was the staff who were beyond extraordinary. They gave us tea kettles to make tea in our room. Our shoes got wet in the roman downpour and they had them dried out. Couple of restaurants which were nearby were suggested and and they all turned out to be great. Lots of other gestures to show they cared and valued our business. I would strongly recommend this hotel to any one. Excellent wine beer/fruit shops in the neighborhood which was a bonus.

Charming Hotel a few blocks from Termini StationPosted Jun 27, 2014
Pros: The room was completely insulated from noises from both the exterior and interior of the hotel. Termini station is just a few blocks away.
Location: Plenty of coffee shops and restaurants in the area. Santa Maria della Vittoria short walking distance from hotel and not to be missed!
I stayed for 10 nights. The décor was charming and updated. The bathroom had new fixtures. The room, bathroom, and outside balcony were very clean. I had a double bed which was very comfortable. The room had a safe. The mini-fridge had items for sale at prices you'd find at the grocery store. The hotel offers a complimentary breakfast and the lobby had a coffee machine that made delicious drinks for half a euro. Termini station was a few blocks away. One block down from the hotel is a grocery store/drug store - a good place to buy food, batteries, umbrellas, etc. Just outside the hotel is a restaurant. Each morning street vendors selling clothes, shoes, perfume, etc. set up at the corner where the hotel is. I was traveling alone and I felt safe in this neighborhood.

Location: close to train and tour bus routes. Handful of restaurants within easy walking distance. Meals were very reasonable in this area(pizza for e8,00)
Staff was extremely helpful. We did not arrive with our luggage. Staff keep tracking luggage to be sure it arrived at hotel before we left.. Excellent breakfast. Room extremely quite for a busy area.Plenty of hot water in shower

Very clean and friendlyPosted May 3, 2014
Pros: Friendly, clean, ideally located
Location: Close to Trevi fountain, Termini Station and near to metro station and open top bus stops
This hotel is situated in a quiet street 5 minutes walk from the Termini Station, which has direct links to the airports - very handy. The hotel is very clean with a good continental breakfast. We were on the First Floor next to the lift, and even that was quite. The room we had was quite small, but adequate, and we weren't planning on throwing any parties. It is ideally located for touring Rome - 10/15 minutes walk from Trevi Fountain and close to metro and open top bus stops. The staff were very friendly and helpful - marking on a map the best places to see and how to get there. Very good small local restaurants nearby with excellent reasonably priced food so after a long day you don't need to go too far for a good meal. We loved it, and if in Rome again, would not hesitate to stay there.

Pleasant stayPosted Mar 9, 2014
Nice clean and pleasant stay. Rooms were fine and can't fault the cleanliness or the comfort of the bed . Bathroom was a little dated but perfectly clean and functional. Not to much road noise either as the roads outside were certainly on the quieter side for Rome. Breakfast was continental an perfectly adequate. Staff were friendly an helpful thus can't say a bad think about it.

Great base for exploring rome!Posted Mar 7, 2014
I can not say enough good things about this hotel, great location 3 minute walk to the termini station where most tours start from, lots of shops and via nationale 10 minute walk, the hotel staff are friendly and informative and the rooms are spacious comfy and spotlessly clean, lovely marble walls and plenty of fresh linen. Breakfast is continental European, very satisfying for a long day ahead exploring rome! All in all i cannot rate this hotel higher for the price and service!
