Super rooms in a town house

Posted Nov 12, 2014
Pros: its quirkiness.
Cons: Communal bar area
Location: 10 mins walk from termini with links to all the major attractions.
Super room in a town house located near the main train/bus terminus in Rome. Easy to get to from airport (get Terravision or Ryan air coach 4euro). Room was comfortable with three beds and a lovely spacious shower room (no bath). We took our 8 year old son and found the tv had no English channels - not a disaster but make sure you take some entertainment. Breakfast was buffet style in a small room by reception. Had cereal, pastries, cheese and ham. Excellent start to the day. Staff were lovely and very helpful. It wasn't what I expected but proved to be just what we needed. Only criticism was that there isn't a communal room where you could come back to for a drink before going out for the evening. Overall, good accommodation, lovely staff, excellent location.

NIce hotel, good breakfast,

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: Very clean and quiet
Cons: Would be nice to have tea and coffee facilites in the room
Location: Near some very good restaurants and a nice pub (the Good Fellas)
This is a hotel within an apartment block. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is more than adequate. The staff are very helpful and the price is very good. The only negative thing is that its not near any of the main attractions. We used taxis that are very reasonable and turn up within less than 5 mins of being ordered. There were 4 of us so its wasnt expensive for us at all and quite convenient.

Fabulous

Posted Nov 2, 2014
The hotel is a little away from the main attractions but they are only a walk or bus ride away. The street was quiet and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and smelt amazing! Rome is a wonderful place to visit and this hotel made the trip even more fabulous. Highly recommend.

Nice hotel, close to train station and Metro

Posted Oct 26, 2014
Pros: Walking distance to the train station and Metro stop. Staff very helpful. Comfortable room and quit.
Cons: Did not like the idea of having only one room key. The room key had to be put into a fob in order to have the lights work. This was inconvenient.
Location: Short walking distance to the train station and Metro. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.
This was a small hotel (6 rooms) but we felt the great European atmosphere that we were wanting to obtain. The room was a good size with a wonderful bathroom. The bed was very comfortable, we slept good every night. The A.C. stopped working one night and the hotel staff had it serviced the next day. The breakfast was a little lacking but adequate for our needs. There are restaurants all around which made it very convenient for dinner. There is a small market just around the corner where we bought water and necessities for each day. Would recommend this hotel for people who want peace and quiet and don't really care about a lot of hotel amenities.

Value

Posted Oct 7, 2014
This hotel is conveniently located close to the termini station, and slightly away from the main tourist attractions to acquire great food. Hotel staff is pleasant. The hotel is in a resident building and a bit aged, but it was a good experience. They offer free breakfast, which is extremely convenient.

Cozy B and B

Posted Oct 6, 2014
Pros: The staff, two young ladies, were very helpful not only with questions concerning the hotel but also with giving directions.
Location: The hotel is within walking distance of several subway stations, many restaurants, laundry shops, convenience stores. The area seems very safe.
The Capitolium is a cozy B and B within walking distance of the subway terminal and Independence Plaza. There many restaurants in the area, several grocery stores and convenience stores, and several places to get your clothes washed and folded. The staff were extremely helpful. Our window overlooked a beautiful garden belonging to the neighboring convent. The room itself was big enough and very clean. I would stay here again. The hotel is five rooms on the third floor of the building. There is a vintage elevator which one can use and which adds a touch of deja vu 1930's to the ambiance of the hotel itself.
