Good location for sight-seeing

Posted Sep 13, 2014
Pros: Location and staff, comfortable stay.
Cons: Comfy chair in room would be good.
Location: Excellent loction for Forum and Colsseum and metro system. A little further to Vatican, but easy walk or metro trip.
Easy to find from Roma Termini and very convenient for looking around Forum and Colosseum. Compact room (limited wardrobe space) but OK for our relatively short stay. Quieter setting than many comparable hotels in Rome. All room facilities worked and staff friendly and very helpful. Would probably use again. Roof-top terrace a bonus. Twin beds request proved to be two singles pulled together a covered by king-sze bedding - so if separation of beds is important to you, beware.

Nice Hotel in a good location

Posted Sep 7, 2014
Stayed for 5 nights in this ideally situated hotel. Approximately 10 minute walk to Colosseum and within walking distance to most of the attractions. Plenty of shops and restaurants a short stroll away. The breakfast was varied and plentiful, rooms adequate and staff extremely friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend.

Nice comfortable hotel, 10 min from Colosseum

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Pros: Location, staff and atmosphere
Location: good location, near to metro links, corner shop, a few small bars and sites such as The Colosseum, Roman Forum.
Nice friendly staff, good selection at breakfast, buffet style. Useful location, 3 minutes from Cavour Metro Station and small café & bars. Hotel has a small roof terrace, with 360degree views of the city and drinks available in the evening. Handy location, walking distance to Colosseum and Roman Forum. I would highly recommend for anyone wanting convenient reasonably priced, friendly place to stay.

Quiet Hotel Colosseum

Posted Aug 31, 2014
We stayed here for 4 nights, the staff were so friendly & the rooms were good. Only thing missing would have been your own private terrace. But the roof top terrace is a must especially for sunrise & sunset. Continental breakfast was included & the choice was just right. Situated on a quiet street you didn't hear any of the traffic at all & the air con in the room was a blessing as it was very warm at the end of August. We would definitely go back, good location for all the sights which are all within walking distance.

Great Location

Pros: Location
Stayed here for 4 nights with teenage son. Great location close to colosseum and Roman Forum. Lovely and quiet as in side street off main road. Loads of restaurants and cafes nearby and close to Termini train station. Room was not enormous but we were too busy exploring beautiful Rome to spend much time in it anyway. The roof terrace is lovely, spectacular views across city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Son was happy to be able to use the lounge computer as well as having free wi fi throughout the hotel. Would recommend as being good value for money.

This is a budget hotel on the better side of the termini train station. The wireless internet was very unreliable.

Met and exceeded our expectations

Great hotel in a perfect location close to metro, bus lines, restaurants, gelaterias and some of the most magnificent parts of ancient Rome. A/C was great. Staff were great. Breakfast was more than adequate. Would go back again for sure.

Loved it!

Posted Aug 19, 2014
An old-fashioned building in the centre of Rome with a rooftop terrace offering stunning views across the city. We spent a lot of time up there!! Breakfast was a wide selection of pastries, rolls, cheese, cold meats, cereal, fruit, yoghurts - something for absolutely everyone - and the coffee was fantastic. The level of cleanliness in the rooms was excellent, although the rooms themselves were a bit small and there weren't quite enough plug sockets. Just a short walk to the Colosseum and the Forum with lots of restaurants just a couple of minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

Rome 2014

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Rooftop terrace.
Location: Walking distance of most things. Hotel gave us a map and we just explored on foot apart from getting taxi to the Vatican.
Took 2 teenagers to Rome in August. Staff very friendly, if you need a taxi (reasonably priced) the reception staff arrange one and a taxi is outside in 2-3 minutes. Hotel within easy walking distance of restaurants, a meal at Ciardi Bar Pasticceria on Via Cavour is a must. Everything about hotel was great including rooftop terrace which was never really crowded. Take a bottle of water with you everywhere and you can just fill it up at the water fountains. Definitely need a return visit to Rome.
