“Excellent Value”

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is walking distance to everything in Rome yet quiet and comfortable. The service was generally good--breakfast was great but front desk could have been a little more helpful. Rooms were clean and spacious.

“Lovely hotel with great staff”

We really enjoyed this hotel in April 05, even if it is a little out of the way. I would recommend it to anyone. especially if you want an American like hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful. The rooms were very modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was great. No complaints at all.

We stayed at the hotel end end of May and were so impresssed with the cleanliness and the excellent location. Great basic restaurants close by and we could walk to the Spanish Steps, etc.

Great hotel, friendly staff. Excellent location close to Vatican and other sites on a quiet street. Large and very clean room. Good breakfast. Will definitely go back to this hotel.

good location. everyone at the hotel was nice and helpful. got upgraded to a suite. couldn't have been happier!!! if i go back to rome i will definitely stay at the hotel dei mellini again

“LOVED LOVED LOVED this hotel!”

LOVED LOVED LOVED this hotel! We were weary, hot & tired travelers when we arrived at the hotel. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful front desk, quick check-in, went to our room to collapse. The A/C was wonderful, rooms are elegant and modern, best hotel we stayed in the entire trip, we left refreshed and renewed to take on the next 5 days of our trip, wish we could have stayed longer!

“Stay here in Roma!”

Large (for European standards), clean room. Very quiet neighborhood yet walking distance to Centro Storico. Good neighborhood restaurants Attentive English speaking staff willing to ring for taxi, arrange reliable transport to and from airport and make restaurant recommendations and reservations. Well presented and extensive breakfast. Have stayed here more than 20 days over several years and look forward to returning.

“Amazing experience”

With so many hotels to choose from, and having never been to Rome before, we were flying blind and relied on Expedia's traveler reviews. Could not be more happy about the experience! Definitely recommend to anyone visiting Rome. It was perfectly located. (We never once used a cab OR public transportation. Instead, walked everywhere and still saw all the important sites in the 3 days we had for our trip.) Wonderfully appointed rooms and very helpful staff. The breakfast was generous and varied. The coffee served at breakfast was the best we had anywhere! Spare yourself the trouble of looking further -- this is a great hotel, and a perfect location!

“A Gem!”

We chose this hotel for our March stay in Rome specifically because of the reviews on expedia; we were not disappointed! The hotel is quiet, low-key, and conveniently located (we never used any form of transportation other than our feet). The staff was pleasant, the breakfast was terrific, and the rooms were updated, clean and as comfortable as any in which I have stayed in Europe. For the price you just can't beat it!
