Hotel Dei Mellini, RomePosted Jul 7, 2015
Pros: Breakfast, roof terrace, friendly staff.
Location: Central location by the river. 20 mins walk from the Vatican. A further walk to other attractions across the river, or very close to a local bus stop.
Great hotel in quiet street. Very close to local bus stop. Easy access to central Rome. Staff friendly and helpful, hotel very clean, good choice of foods for breakfast.

Location is reasonably close to the Vatican and central Rome. Staff was ok but not as friendly as I would like. Internet was not good at all. Room was very small

Sweet SuitePosted Jul 2, 2015
Young woman at the front desk very helpful and pleasant. Suite was wonderful and clean. Construction on the street is unfortunate. Parking was taken care of by the front desk staff but not inexpensive.

Lovely centrally located hotelPosted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff who always smiled and made us feel like VIPs Centrally located and no traffic noise which ensured a restful evening
Cons: An outdoor pool would have been nice to relax after a long day sightseeing. A self service ice machine rather than having to ask at the bar
Location: location superb for sightseeing, shopping and for a gentle stroll after lunch / dinner
A lovely hotel within 20 min walk to many attractions, we were spoilt for choice when it came to restaurants as there were too many to choose from all within 10 min walk. Hotel staff were very friendly and showed a genuine interest in our visit to Rome. Breakfast buffet restaurant opened at 6.30am every morning which allowed us to have an early start to our sightseeing trip. Overall this was a wonderful visit to Rome and made even better by staying at the Dei Mellini.

Comfort and conveniencePosted Jun 20, 2015
Had a comfortable 5-night stay in the hotel located on a quiet street (though a good 10-15-min walk to the nearest metro); good hotel amenities, buffet breakfast and fast wifi connection

Quite and comfortable hotel.Posted Jun 1, 2015
Pros: Room size, cleanliness and comfort. Brilliant buffet breakfast with a usefully wide range of opening hours.
Cons: Possibly the range of evening meals/snacks but the restaurant a few doors along was excellent so probably best left to them.
Location: Great location to walk to The Vatican in one direction and the Spanish Steps in the other. Shops and eateries not too far away.
A long weekend in Rome to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The Hotel was brilliantly positioned for walking to all of the main historical sites, tucked away in a quiet but accessible side street near the river. Very comfortable bed, clean room and facilities (good hot powerful shower with bath as a relaxing option). First class buffet breakfast with just about all you could want to start the day.

I was a pleasant stay. Front desk staff can be a bit more helpful and help us how to get to places. The hotel is a bit out of the way so their guidance is needed
