This hotel was recommended to us by friends in Rome, who use it when they're flying out on an early flight. It was exactly what we were looking for: clean, safe, not expensive, and close to the airport. Lots of restaurants nearby... and as a plus, right on the beach.

“A great couple of days before a cruise”

The hotel was clean and modern. Great location " frt Lauderdale on the med. sea. Small room with a balconey on the sea, within walking distance to good food. more then I expected for a reasonable price, far from downtown or the cruise ship horbor, but great!!

Hotel staff was very accommodating. Room was very nice. Bed was too firm; but clean linens throughout. Cleanliness was better than acceptable. Didn't charge us for misplaced key. Quiet, easily accessible to boardwalk, businesses. Easy access to airport (local shuttle).

Only needed a place to stay for one night near the airport. A 3 star hotel was sufficent for our needs. It was a nice surprise to be right on the beach with lots of restaurants and bars.

“Nice little hotel on the beach”

Hotel Del Mare is located about 20 minutes/25 Euro cab ride away from FCO. It is right across the street from the beach and within an easy walk of several restaurants. The staff were friendly, knew English well, and attended to our needs, such as requesting extra towels and ordering us a taxi for an early morning ride to nearby FCO. Well worth the price and a nice capstone for our 2 week Italy vacation.
