Fantastic hotel with great locationPosted Sep 7, 2014
We absolutely loved our stay here, the staff and hotel are amazing and the location is perfect. The rooftop restaurant/bar has incredible views! Can't say enough about this place

The problem with booking with websites is the hotel provides the website customers with sub standard rooms I would have received a much better room booking directly with the hotel for the same price.

Perfect in every way.Posted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: The staff and the location.
Cons: Tea and coffe making facilities in the room.
Location: The Spanish steps were the closest, then the shopping on via condutti.
Friendly staff at every turn, beautiful throughout and very clean. Formal when appropriate ( in the restaurant) but more relaxed elsewhere. Location could not be better. We walked for less than 3 minutes and were at the top of the Spanish steps. The air con in the room was silent which was such a pleasant change as you could leave it on overnight.

Classic cozy elegancePosted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: Everything! (authenticity, service, service, service... - not excessive, not 'in your face', just anything you need, whenever you need it)
Cons: Nothing really. Surely, a 150 yr old hotel will not have a modern shower room, but the decor makes so much up for it. Basic gym, but better than not
Location: 5-8 mins walk to buzzling Spanish Steps, but quietly located opposite green parkland
On our honeymoon, we received 1st class service with personal and thorough attention from all staff at the hotel. Nothing was too difficult - in fact everything was possible! It is the best hotel exeperience I have ever had, and a cut above other so-called 5-star hotels. We will definitely be back, and will give Hotel Eden our strongest recommendations!

Overrated hotel and expensive hotelPosted Jul 12, 2014
Was disappointed with this hotel. Arrived at 4pm from Miami and room was not ready. We finally got our room and there were workers drilling in front of room door. Room was quite small. Had a nice garden view.

RomePosted Mar 21, 2014 on Hotels.com
I've been to Rome many times and have stayed in several wonderful hotels. This was my first stay at Hotel Eden. The hotel is in a wonderful and convenient neighborhood. You can walk everywhere and it's on a lovely street The rooms were very nice, a bit small and had too much furniture in them for the size. I stayed there for three nights left for Florence and came back for two nights, so had two different rooms. Both had the same issues. The main problem is the noise. The street seems quiet but at night it's very noisy -- far noisier than I ever expected and the rooms were hot so I had to have a window open....Unfortunately I don't think I'll stay here again.

Breathtaking views of RomePosted Dec 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very pleasant stay, thanks to the convenient location and very courteous service. The best part of the hotel experience is to enjoy breakfast in the terrace restaurant while enjoying breathtaking views of the city, spanning everything from the Forum to the Vatican. The room themselves are fine but rather small. Prices are on the high end of reasonable, but this is Rome.

a bit expensive, especially in the restaurant....and too pricey in a country with so much excellent places.
