Nice hotel, very close to main Metro (Termini)

Enjoyed our stay very much. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Front desk spoke good English. Easy access to go anywhere in Italy. Older hotel but comfortable, clean and reasonable.

Budget Hotel Close to Bus, Train & Metro Transport

Posted May 2, 2014
Pros: Location is perfect. The room was clean and tidy. Free Wifi.
Cons: The shower fixture was loose. There was only one small window in my room, so it was cramped and with poor ventilation. Flies in lobby.
Location: Rome is literally at your doorstep with easy connections to the A & B metro lines, the train station and easy connections to the airports.
I stayed in Rome for three nights, and I chose this hotel because of it was inexpensive and close to major forms of transportation. The purpose of my visit was for research.

We stay at room 501, one room that was located at the attic. The elevator rises to the 4th floor and then you have to go up by foot ,10 narrow staps ( it was difficult with the lagged ). The room was big but neglected. With old furniture, poor light and blockage at the shower. Also it's located next to ×´Termini" central station, not good place to turn around at night.

You get what you pay for!

The hotel was very tired and shabby, the plumbing was dodgy and the surrounding area was horrible. However, the reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The room was large, the beds were clean and comfortable and the air conditionong did work. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and the location was extremely convenient for the station and buses etc. Bearing in mind that this was the cheapest hotel I could find in Rome, there are no real grounds for complaint! Yes I would stay here again.

Don't stay here

This hotel is located near the train station but that does not make up for the quality of the hotel. The furnishings in the room and in the hotel lobby were shabby and of a poor quality. The bed in our room was made of a mattress too small for the rickety frame. The ensuite bathroom smelt of urine for the duration of our stay. The breakfast buffet was similarly of a poor quality. There must be better places to stay in Rome.

Very covenient location to Termini train station and to metros and busses. Small room but very clean, no view from the window though. An ok breakfast. Good hotel for the price if you are looking for a good location close to different forms of transportation. Within a walking distance, about 20-30 min from main sights (Colosseum, Fontana di Trevi)

Nice Stay

During our recent stay at the Hotel Fiamma, we found the staff quite friendly and helpful when ask about city sightseeing, transportation and nearby restaurants. The room was cleaned daily and quite comfortable. It was also near the train station and metroline. USA VISITOR

We met 3 reception guys during stay. 1st guy was so nice, but the other are not. We were dissapointed with Italian hospitality and surprised at weird layout in our narrow room. There are 2 beds, arranged lengthways. Anyway good location.
