Cons: Location
Location: Fontana Di Trevi 10m-1min, Metro 10 min walk, Piazza Navona 10 min walk
it is small hotel but location is one of the best in Rome. When you go out from main hotel door , every time you see fontana Di Trevi ;)

Nightmare

Posted Nov 26, 2013 on Hotels.com
The pictures of this hotel due not reflect what you walk into upon arrival. Our room was out dated and felt dirty. The bed was the same as sleeping on the floor and the pillows were comparable to rocks. As for the bathroom it was dirty and the sink was so close to the toilet that you had to slide between the two of them to sit down. Then the shower was so small a grown man or women should not fit. Overall, our stay was a nightmare and I would tell everyone to stay away from this place!

great location bad service and room

terrible. Only good thing was location. staff unfriendly. Most unconfortable bathroom. small box 2feet by 2feet with a thin curtain touching the toilet was the shower. To sit in the toilet you hit the wall with the right knee and the bidet with the left knee. staff confiscates passport for the complete stay. we felt like hostages. Breakfast buffet real bad compared with cheaper hotels all over europe. No place to put toilet paper while seating at the Throne....You have to hold it in your hands. Oh boy.....

Great location

Posted Oct 8, 2013
Pros: Location, location, location
Location: The main sights are either within walking distance or a short bus/metro journey.
You cant beat the location of this hotel. Our room overlooked the Trevi Fountain which was amazing. The terrace bar/restaurant looks out over the fountain and is a great place to have a late-night drink.

Great Location and friendly service.

We requested a room with a view of Trevi Fountain. The hotel is directly across a narrow street from the fountain. Our room was just left of center of the front of the fountain. At night we left the windows open and listened to the fountain all night long. The rooms were clean and as advertised. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Rome.

Nice hotel in great location

Posted Sep 25, 2013
Pros: Location and views
Cons: Could be modernised but it would probably spoil the character
Location: As before all attractions within walking distance We purchased a three day metro pass and only used it once
We arrived at the hotel rather tired and wet after a down pour but were soon settled in our room and out for the evening Reception staff pleasant enough and gave good information when asked Breakfast not really our style but what was there was decent Great veiw of the Trevi fountain from the breakfast room Hotel is centrally located and we found that it was not too much to get to most of the tourest spots on foot Most restaraunts around the hotel were ok but a touch on the expensive side for what you get

Great hotel, abundant character in ideal location

Posted Aug 30, 2013
Chose this hotel not knowing Rome at all. What a gem! Perfect location to walk to all places of interest in Rome. Plenty of good restaurants right outside. Most of the hotel staff were so kind and tried there all to make our stay special. Hotel was full of character and the roof terrace for breakfast was like being in a film. The area is busy but that is why we chose the fontana. We wanted to be in the midst of all the fun. Couldn't here any noise with the windows closed. Would definately stay here again.

Great Stay - Hotel Fontana

Posted Aug 18, 2013
Pros: Location
Cons: N/A
Location: From the Trevi Fountain you are in the epicenter of Roma -Walking distance to the Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Palitine hill and the Colosseum and more.
This stay was more than I could have hoped for, and being in front of the Trevi Fountain was not too loud, and I got to watch them clean the fountain in the morning. Simply a typical Italian Hotel in a great location.
