Excellent position and wonderful roof top bar with great cocktails served by Paulo! Recommend!! Not quite the 4 star service expected but a good hotel with plenty of character .

Expect More From The Hotel

Posted Feb 23, 2014
Pros: Located very close to Colossuem and metro.
Cons: Reduce the rate or provide free breakfast.
Overall the hotel is fine but just feel it doesn't worth the price. The hotel is old but is kept clean and tidy. Though parking isn't provided, convenient to park around the hotel. Located very close to Colossuem and metro. Breakfast located at the rooftop, good morning feel, too bad it's not inclusive.

In the heart of Ancient Rome

Posted Jan 6, 2014
Pros: The location is perfect! We were able to walk right outside the front door to view the New Year's Eve fireworks at 12 midnight.
Cons: Front desk staff and concierge are a bit stuffy and off-putting.
We recently stayed at Hotel Forum over the holidays with our two sons (4 travelers total). We had the "family room" accommodation which included 2 bedrooms and one bathroom. The rooms were clean and the bathroom updated. Breakfast was included in our rate, and was served on the rooftop, with a gorgeous view of ancient Rome. The breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast included pastries, scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, juices, cereal, and yogurt. Plenty for our two teenage boys. As far as the hotel star rating, I would re-rate it as a 3.0/3.5. In my opinion, the amenities don't satisfy the current 4 star rating. But I would still recommend it, for the location.

Overall the hotel was very nice, clean and well kept. Shower was a bit tight for a 6'+ person. Would stay again.

Despite the torrential rain due to weather....

...front over Sardinia we had a fab time . Unfortunately water did leak into our splendid room in the early hours but the hotel staff could not have been more helpful. We were given a new room immediately as well as a complimentary breakfast and luncheon . They could not have been more helpful

Pros: Fantastic location and very nice hotel. The restaurant on the top floor is amazing with a fantastic view out over the Roman Forum.
Cons: Climate control in room - I couldn't tell if I was getting cold or warm air coming out of the vent.
Location: Perfectly located right in the middle of everything. Roman Forum only a few steps from the hotel and the Coliseum is just around the corner.

Convenient location, friendly staff

My room (for one person) was tiny and there was no mini-bar. But it was comfortable and clean and it's centrally located. And the staff is great. I'd stay there again.

The hotel is conveniently located. Have stayed there a few times prior but I think not again. The hotel needs some updating with the beds, pillows and lighting. Breakfast was good.
