Great Location! SMALLEST Room I've ever stayed in.

Posted Feb 25, 2015
Pros: Location and history. Some staff OK.
Cons: Don't ignore customers as they enter the restaurant.
Location: Colosseum, Pantheon, Nerva's Forum, Altar of the Fatherland, Piazza de Venezia.
Check-in was OK. Staff were pleasant. For the price - the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. NO view. The window looked into a central "shaft" that filtered down noises most of the night from some kitchen. I must have received the most unpleasant room on the facility. The staff member on the morning of my departure was a pleasure to talk to. The view from the top restaurant was gorgeous, but the staff were not responsive so I left. At the time I had to leave in the AM to catch my flight, I was charged an extra 20 Euro due to my taxi coming before 7am. A 30% surcharge seems over-the-top.

albergo storico con vista sui fori imperiali

Posted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: posizione,atmosfera ,classico ed elegante
Cons: area reception
Location: posizione vicino a" tutto " a piedi se siete buoni camminatori
Sono stato diverse volte per lavoro e tornato adesso con la famiglia. Hotel rinnovato nelle camere in stile classico ,ristorante e bar all'ultimo piano giustificano un soggiorno . Family room spaziosa con 2 bagni Da non perdere una colazione o pranzo sul terrazzo

Great location!

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Very clean and great location to Rome's best sites.
Location: Shopping, restaurants, bar/evening entertainment section of the city nearby and Rome's best historical sites are all within walking distance.
The location is perfect for seeing many of Rome's most sought after site seeing destinations. Many nice restaurants and a bar/entertainment section of the city is only a fifteen minute walk from the hotel. The hotel itself is an older hotel with wooden antique furniture that has been kept in very good shape. It has a nice feeling that is not like a large hotel chain. A rooftop restaurant and a small lobby bar are nice and convenient. The rooms are very clean. The sheets are changed daily and the bathrooms with all marble appointments are very clean and up to date, in a classical type styling. We really enjoyed this hotel. It was reasonably priced and this is where we would stay again if we are in Rome again.

Perfect Roma Hotel!

Posted Feb 3, 2015
The hotel is in such a fantastic location! Very easy check-in and out with lovely staff, the hotels traditional decor immerses you in Roma culture. The undoubtedly best thing about the whole trip was the roof-top restaurant at the hotel - the food (whilst expensive) was incredible! The service was the best I've ever had, we felt extremely welcomed and will always stay here when visiting the city.

Pros: see above
Cons: Staff could be more engaged and service oriented. Room service food could be better.
Location: see above
The good - This hotel is 10 feet from the Imperial Forum. It is a couple short blocks from the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, and the Forum. In short, it is very well placed to see the sites. Also, the internet is pretty fast for Rome. There is a very nearby convenience store, so you can buy drinks and snacks for the room with out incurring mini-bar prices. The bad - The staff is not very motivated to be helpful. The mattress of a superior room feels like it was packed with sand. The bathrooms are small. Conclusion - This hotel is a little past its time but is so conveniently located that it is almost worth staying in.

Great location

Pros: Location, location, location. Right next to the Coliseum, walking distance to Pantheon and trevi fountain, as well as to the Tiber and Trastevere.
Cons: Food in the restaurant was good but extremely expensive!
Location: As I said above , view of the Forum and Coliseum next to Piaza Venezia. Couldn't be more convenient
Fantastic location, walking distance to many sites, right in the center of the city by Piazza Venezia. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating and spoke English well. Charming old style. European decor. Rooms small, but typical of European hotels. Very clean. I would definitely stay there again!

Great hotel, excellent location.

I am very satisfied with Hotel Forum. The room was humongous compare to my last stay in a different hotel. The staff was friendly and courteous. The location was perfect. Five minute walk from the Roman Forum, and eight from the Coliseum. Smack in the center between Termini station and Cavour Station, which are only 10 minutes walk. Our rooms face the side of the hotel on the fourth floor, with two big windows that we kept open must of the time. You can hear the street sounds if you do, but we found it charming. Wi-Fi was very good, having Wi-Fi extenders all over the floor. The restaurant has a great view but is way, way to overprice. Instead go to restaurants off the main tourist traps streets and you will find good dinner at reasonable prices. Up Via Cavour (next to hotel) there are several grocery shops. We had no problem using the refrigerator to put the groceries with bought like other guest mention. Be aware that went you take out the card that controls the electricity in the room the refrigerator will turn off.

Aspettative deluse
