Perfect, except street noise

Posted May 24, 2015
Everything is perfect, especially the breakfast. One thing I would comment on is the noise from the street. Unfortunately, we got a room on the second (first floor) and there are some noises on the street. Other than that, I would love to go back to the hotel any time.

Traumhaft

Dank des Hotels mit der schönen Dachterrasse wird uns Rom in sehr guter Erinnerung bleiben. Besonders freundlich war der Concierge aus Südtirol, vielen Dank für alles.

Excellent location close to Forum and Colosseum.

Posted May 19, 2015
Cons: Shower is very small.
Location: Excellent location, very convenient for all major sites.
Very pleasant old-world style hotel with friendly staff. Excellent location. Rooms looking out on Forum can be very noisy from Rome traffic if windows are opened. Excellent breakfast buffet in rooftop restaurant and good service in restaurant at lunch and dinner if needed. We would stay at the Forum if holidaying in Rome again.

Hotel right character for the centre of Rome

Posted May 15, 2015
Pros: Roof top restaurant, very comfy beds,
Cons: Hair dryer in the bathroom only worked for about I minute then cut out. There were 3 women trying to dry their hair and it took ages to get ready.
Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, would recommend this hotel to any one.

Lovely hotel in a great location

Posted May 11, 2015
Pros: Nothing we didn't like
Location: Handy for most of the main sights. We did get a taxi to the Vatican
Just back from a few nights at the Hotel Forum. We found the hotel to be clean and the staff to be very pleasant. No real negatives from our point of view. Having breakfast in the rooftop restaurant looking over the sites of Ancient Rome was a plus.

Nice hotel with view of Forum!

Posted May 8, 2015
Pros: Location, view of Forum ruins from our hotel as well as the dining room and bar.
Cons: Better wifi in rooms. Was a little pricey.
Location: Ancient ruins (Colosseum and Forum), restaurants in the Monti area; walking distance to other popular sights.
Our family of 4 received upgraded rooms upon arrival. The spacious double room my children shared had three windows all with fabulous views overlooking the Roman Forum ruins and a huge bathroom. Our adjoining double room was cozy, and had one window with a pleasant view. The hotel has an old elegance and a fabulous location -- minutes walk to the Colosseum and Forum, as well as restaurants, etc.

Comfortable hotel close to major sites of interest

Posted May 1, 2015
Pros: Location and friendly staff
Cons: Breakfast - too many pastries and the prepared fruit was canned. Breakfast did not match the overall standard of the hotel.
Location: Immense number of historic sites easily accessible on foot from hotel. Extremely close to a variety of restaurants and cafes.
Four day break. Although the location was excellent for tourist purposes, the noise from an immediately adjacent bar was intolerable most nights and did not subside until well in to the early thus keeping guests awake.

Lovely & brilliant location

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Mainly location but everything was great.
Cons: Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. But not essential.
Location: Bang in the centre of everything in the Ancient part of town. Romes ice bar was only a couple of doors away.
We stayed here for 3 nights (thurs-Sun) & was very impressed. Room was a nice size, clean, lovely bathroom with a shower (with a marble seat) & hairdryer. Happy to find we could smoke in our room (we don't smoke a lot but it was nice to be able to have a cigarette whilst sitting at the window enjoying the view). Found it strange there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but it didn't make any difference. Bed was massive & comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful, & approachable. The breakfast wasn't in our package but we had it one am (paid at check out) and it was lovely. The usual continental buffett with the option of scrambled eggs (which were lovely by the way) & bacon as well. Some might think expensive at 18 euros each but the nxt day my husband didn't want any breakfast so we went to a cafe over the road & paid the same we would've for us both at the hotel for 1 x breakfast meal, 1 x juice, & 2 x coffees!! Needless to say wished we had done the breakfast in the hotel again. Location couldn't of been better right in the centre of the acient centre. If we ever get the pleasure of going to Rome again will definately book here again, have already recomended it to friends & family scince our return.
