Comfortable hotel close to major sites of interestPosted May 1, 2015
Pros: Location and friendly staff
Cons: Breakfast - too many pastries and the prepared fruit was canned. Breakfast did not match the overall standard of the hotel.
Location: Immense number of historic sites easily accessible on foot from hotel. Extremely close to a variety of restaurants and cafes.
Four day break. Although the location was excellent for tourist purposes, the noise from an immediately adjacent bar was intolerable most nights and did not subside until well in to the early thus keeping guests awake.

Lovely & brilliant locationPosted Apr 28, 2015
Pros: Mainly location but everything was great.
Cons: Tea/coffee making facilities in the room. But not essential.
Location: Bang in the centre of everything in the Ancient part of town. Romes ice bar was only a couple of doors away.
We stayed here for 3 nights (thurs-Sun) & was very impressed. Room was a nice size, clean, lovely bathroom with a shower (with a marble seat) & hairdryer. Happy to find we could smoke in our room (we don't smoke a lot but it was nice to be able to have a cigarette whilst sitting at the window enjoying the view). Found it strange there was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room but it didn't make any difference. Bed was massive & comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful, & approachable. The breakfast wasn't in our package but we had it one am (paid at check out) and it was lovely. The usual continental buffett with the option of scrambled eggs (which were lovely by the way) & bacon as well. Some might think expensive at 18 euros each but the nxt day my husband didn't want any breakfast so we went to a cafe over the road & paid the same we would've for us both at the hotel for 1 x breakfast meal, 1 x juice, & 2 x coffees!! Needless to say wished we had done the breakfast in the hotel again. Location couldn't of been better right in the centre of the acient centre. If we ever get the pleasure of going to Rome again will definately book here again, have already recomended it to friends & family scince our return.

A lovely hotel, in the heart of the Old CityPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: The staff were very pleasant, especially Maria at breakfast. The children were well catered for and the location was ideal.
Cons: Our room was lovely and spacious, but it was situated close to a very small bar on a side street, which was a little noisy late into the night.
Location: Our hotel was directly next to the Forum and a short walk from the Colosseum. Transport links were great. There were shops and restaurants near by.
A really enjoyable stay, with beautiful views of Rome. Centralized and convenient to get about on foot or by local transport.

A Roman jewel.Posted Apr 12, 2015
Location: everything Rome has to offer and lovely pavement restaurants.
I've never stayed in a hotel where I've had no complaints until I stayed at the Forum in Rome this week. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable, beautifully furnished with a wonderful view of the city from two aspects. The roof top restaurant was a star feature and the food and service excellent. Highly recommended. Can't wait to go there again. And I never say that!

Very nice hotel, close to historic centrePosted Apr 11, 2015
Traditional style, clean and comfortable. Staff helpful, polite and respectful. Lovely breakfast in rooftop restaurant, with fabulous views of archaeological sites. Perfect location right next to main historic area, with easy reach to most other tourist locations. Could not have asked for anything more!

We had a lovely time at The Forum HotelPosted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Loved the location, it's a charming hotel, lovely views at breakfast and in the evening in the roof top bar. Room was great size and views wonderful.
Cons: Just the mattress on sofa bed and some sofe pillows would be great.
Location: Great location, lovely places to eat, views lovely.
We had a great room over looking the Forum. It was a family room which was great for us as it had 2 bathrooms and pleanty of room for us all. The secound bed was a sofa bed. The kids said the mattress was very thin and they could feel the springs. The double bed was comfy but the pillows were very hard. How ever this did not stop us sleeping well. There is some noise from the streets but the location is so lovely it didn't bother us to much. The jacuzzi bath was great after a long day walking around Rome.

Watch out for the Irish bar!!Posted Apr 4, 2015
If you are given a room on the alley side of the hotel Watch out for the very late night irish bar across the street Kept us up till 2 in the morning for all three nights of our stay Shame as the hotel is very nice and has a superb location
