A centrally located standard hotelPosted Jun 21, 2014
Warm welcome, clean room but no working air con, quite loud at times on balcony area outside our window. Staff did not always seem approachable and could have smiled more. Overall though central location and clean comfortable room.

Great location b&bPosted May 11, 2014
Cons: Lighting in the rooms
Location: Eat at the Triano
Unpretentious b&b in a wonderful, quiet but central location, Trevi fountain, Colosseum, Vittoriano, etc easily walkable. Hop on hop off bus five minutes' walk away. Rooms small but functional, although a bit more light would have been good, breakfast adequate, ideal for a short break when you are hardly in the rooms anyway!Another great asset was the restaurant Triano next door which was excellent and very popular with Italians and tourists alike.

Basic hotel in city centrePosted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: The location is good. 5 minute walk from the Roma Terminus railway station.
Cons: Mattresses were very firm.
Location: The location is good, 10-15 minute walk from the Colosseum, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Spanish Steps etc.
A reasonably priced hotel in the centre of Rome that is fine if you plan to be out and about all day. Not much in the way of amenities but you're probably there to see Rome rather than stay indoors. It can take a bit of finding as the entrance is in a courtyard behind a big wooden door & then up to the third floor: The hotel is just the third floor.

Good location, helpful staffPosted Feb 14, 2014
Hotel was quite close to centre. Easy walk to Trevi fountain. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast choices were l limited but did the job. Room was basic but ideal for a base, just needed a freshen up on the walls. Shower/toilet facilities were really good. Would stay here again.

Quirky hotel just outside the centre of RomePosted Nov 30, 2013
Pros: Rooms were clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Quiet, being slightly further out of the centre of Rome.
Cons: Could do with a bigger breakfast area. I imagine in summer this area could get very crowded when the hotel is full. Not a problem in November.
Location: Just outside the centre of Rome. Plenty of pizzerias/restaurants nearby. All the major sites within 15 minutes walking distance.
Booked this hotel for a trip in late November 2013. Chose it because the hotel was reasonably cheap, a little further out than the centre of Rome (Monti district), but not too far out that all the sights couldn't be visited on foot (all easily accessible within 15 minutes). Took less than an hour to walk (very leisurely) to the Vatican. Very easy to walk to from Termini station (less than 15 minutes). You have to go through a little courtyard, then up to the third floor of the building to reach the hotel, which is one floor of an apartment block. There was building work and scaffolding when we stayed, but this didn't impact on our stay at all. Hotel staff were very friendly and attentive, rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was limited, but enjoyable nonetheless. Breakfast area was quite small, however, so I imagine in summer when hotels are fuller, it might not be possible to get a seat.

Good location could do with a touch of paint.Posted Oct 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Friendly staff good central location for historic sites, beds reasonably comfortable. On the down side breakfast not great and could freshen up decor a little.

Great Location but the hotel is a pit!Posted Oct 8, 2013 on Hotels.com
Not enough room to list all of the issues, but here are some; Airconditioning did not work well the first two nights and not at all the last night. The hotel is on the third floor of an old palace, that is under considerable reconditioning. So, dust and dirt everywhere. 24/7 smokers in the courtyard make the entire hotel smell of smoke. Of the three hotels we stayed in for this trip, this was the only one without ANY English TV channels.
