Close proximity to Transport Terminal

Pros: proximity to tarnsport
Cons: All paintwork, carpets and upholstery cleaned. Better mattresses.
Location: good eating places.
Hotel rather sad looking, lounge upholstery very `sweat marked` and this was the start of the season when everything should have been in top condition. First night in a room with aircon that was freezing and couldn't be adjusted. 3 coathangers-no bars for trousers and this a double room. Again rather `sad` looking d├ęcor, mattress very very hard. All linen spotless, cleaners very efficient. Moved to another room which was a slight improvement. Some staff very accommodating. Not as I thought from the photos in advert

Easy to find from Termini

Cons: Updated and nicer day front desk guy but it was OK
Location: We walked everywhere! Colosseum, Pantheon, Spanish steps, even back from the Vatican but that was Far - better by Metro (1.5 Euros each way)
Nothing fancy but just what we needed. My two daughters and I had a room for two days and it worked out great. The price was pretty good, but the "triple" cost more than I expected, not bad though. The building is older and the place was a bit worn looking but the whole city is VERY old so that's what I expected. It was clean and we wanted to walk from the train station-so that was perfect! The best part was Amir, the front desk clerk at night< he was funny and helpful. Thank you Sir for making the place better. Other wise, it was fine. I would stay here again or try another place in the similar area and price range. There were several families here and a nice room to wait (snooze) as we waited for our room. We got in at 10 am and check-in is at 2. Our room was ready by noon, so that was very nice. Breakfast was fine, a good start to a great day of pasta and gelato!

Pros: Sparticus at the desk and a good breakfast.
Its proximity to historical sites and to the Termini gives this hotel two advantageous points. The third and most important point is the ease with which one may take an express train to the airport from the Termini. .

not a 3-star

Wi-Fi not working, very old and sad looking furniture. Good thing we brought our own toiletries items, clean bedsheets but very old bed covers. At one point we did not have cold water . Room is small. Breakfast is ok and staff do their work but this should be a 2.5-star not 3-star hotel. The only convenience is that it is near Termini and Republica subway stations.

Pros: Leaving it
We stayed for four nights and it was not good by any means. The staff was not friendly at all and the person ahead of us got a bigger room for 50Euro less. When asked why we were told that because it was only for one person and we had two. I saw both of them check in and they flat out said you already paid so that is the price. Room was very dirty with a broken toilet and a moldy shower curtain. The room was not cleaned once during the four nights we stayed and the carpet must have been out of a movie theater to be that sticky and dirty. Avoid this hotel or at least have them show you your room before you pay. Good luck.
